A L'UKULELE HIT
Stop the presses!
Paris' own super musician Luka Couffaine, 25, has just smashed records with his newest hit, featuring his self made ukulele.
Couffaine has been touring the globe for over four years and has finally hit the big time, duetting with none other than his father Jagged Stone, 45. The duet between the father and son, named 'A Wish Too Far', has soared into the number one spot in thirty countries. That's right readers, thirty countries!
The song's recent success in France also stopped XY's cover of 'You're so vain' and Clara Nightingale's 'No rhyme, no talk' from claiming the top spot on the billboard charts.
Couffaine, a good friend to the magazine, has once again been a gem and sent us a little note for his fans.
'I have been so fortunate having the opportunity to tour with my father over the past four years, learning more about music and myself. 'A Wish Too Far' was the first song I had ever written alone, and with the support and guidance of my father it became something bigger than I ever could have imagined.
'A Wish Too Far' represents some of the struggles I faced in my late teens with unrequited love and letting go. Where some people may become bitter from heartbreak, my love for the girl in the song only grew and finally I was able to move on. She knows the song is about her, and had the opportunity to listen to the track first. She is still a close friend, even to this day.
I would like to thank my fans for being so supportive and buying this song. I hope it will give you the hope 'the wish' gave me, the hope that true love is always out there, and sometimes it takes a while to find it but when you do it'll be worth every moment.'
Fans of the song have gone wild over the implications of the song's meaning. Who is this girl? Who did she choose over rock and roll's rising star?
Luka will return to Paris later in the month to perform 'A Wish Too Far' at the 'A Gift for Kidz' charity showcase run by his sister in law, Rose Lavillant-Couffaine.
Our journalist, Alya Cesaire, will be present to cover the event.

Marinette sat down to lace up her trainers. It was seven in the morning and after tossing and turning for over two hours she finally decided it was just easier to get up and go for a run than to try and catch any more sleep. Her mind was buzzing from the previous day and she needed to see Peyton. She needed answers.
Over and over again her mind was replaying the conversation with Adrien. The conversation where she'd found out she was actually honey trapping a single guy. Someone who, technically, could do whatever he damn well pleased. She pulled her laces slightly harder than intended, having to adjust the bottom and free them up a little, helping the circulation continue to her toes.
Her hair was in a high ponytail, a bright green ribbon wrapped around the bobble to match that of her sports bra. Her black leggings also had a green trim running down the outside seam, and she completed the ensemble with a thin, loose racer back vest top. She took hold of the diamond on her necklace and placed it in her sports bra. Even if it broke and dropped, it would land in her cleavage which would be better than losing it. The sports bra was tight under her chest, making do as a breast support and a safety net. If she could get in a couple of miles or more she might feel better about things, plus it would give her time to think.
Standing from the sofa she headed for her AirPods, sitting on her kitchen counter, and placed them in, before slotting her phone into her self contained pocket on the side of her leggings. She always had her running playlist on shuffle, mixing some of her favourite songs with those that pushed her on. The first song vibrated through her Airpods and, of course, it would be 'A Wish Too Far'. She couldn't help rolling her eyes as the harsh voice of Jagged Stone reached her ears, followed by the soothing melody of Luka's.
