Nabi sat down in the library and called her mom, letting her know she's in the library. There's no one else in there, and the librarian just went out 3 seconds ago.

"Hello mum"
"Yeah? When will you get home?" She heard from the phone.
"Same time, I'll have to cut some study time short today as I'm working on a project with someone"
"Okay"
"Also, to make the model, is it alright if my partner comes to our house and we make the project at my place?"
"Guy or girl?"
"Guy"
"Okay, let me know first before you invite him over"
"Okay, bye mom"
"Hmm" and the phone hung up.

Nabi stood up and walked towards the physics section, picking out the books suitable for the topic she was going to suggest, "hyperloop"

She sat back down on the chair and sighed, before picking up her phone and saw a text from jisung.

Nabi instantly looked up when she heard the door open, and there was Lee Jeno, who closed the door behind him and walked in. He was wearing the uniform and red hightops, no blazer though. He had his bag and vehicle keys in some keys in his hand.

He sat down in front of her, she also smelled something, like he was smoking before coming there.

Nabi chose to speak first, "hey jeno"
Jeno nodded, "Hey nabi. I suggest we should do a project on whatever you suggest"

Nabi just said "oh, okay i think we should do one on hyperloop? Is that alright?" But she was also surprised.

Jeno nodded back and took on eof the books in front of her and started reading with a notebook and a pen. Nabi did the same and the two researched without talking for 30 minutes.

Nabi finally spoke up, breaking the silence as she noticed something just below Jeno's left thumb.

"What does that tattoo mean?"
Jeno looked up in confusion, "huh?"
"The tattoo, that one" Nabi pointed at it.

Nabi knew it as she smiled, because Jeno smiled as well.

Jeno cleared his throat, "It's just a smile, that always tells me to keep going and do what I want even in worst of times"

Nabi nodded, "It's really cute not going to lie"

Jeno nodded while looking at his notebook, but Nabi for sure managed to catch that small smile, "thanks"

They stayed there for another 30 minutes, only talking when about research, and continued on, until Nabi's phone rang.

"Hello" Jeno looked at her as she spoke.
"Yeah I'll be back in 10 minutes... okay mom I'll make sure of that...no I'm sorry it won't happen again...okay...okay i will... bye mom"

Nabi looked at Jeno, "Can we do more research after school at my house tomorrow? I have to go home now"

Jeno nodded and they both stood up, packed up their stuff and bowed to the librarian before leaving.

Just as Nabi was about to walk out, she heard something.
"Hey!"
Nabi turned around to see Jeno who called her.
"Yeah?"

Jeno stood there, caught a breath first, then cleared his throat and spoke up,
"I wil drop you off, my jeep is right here" he pointed towards it.

Only god knows what nabi thought when she instantly nodded a yes, and followed jeno to his jeep, sitting in the passenger seat.

Jeno starts the van but not before thinking how fishy Nabi's call with her mother seemed.
