The ride back home was quiet, Jeno drove, Nabi just looked outside. The two only talking when Nabi gave directions to her place. It wasn't cold, the month of september was warmer than expected, so Jeno kept the windows down. 

"Just take a u-turn and stop in front of that apartment complex, i live there" Nabi said and Jeno nodded, taking a u-turn.

"are visitors allowed inside?"
"yeah"
"okay i'll drop you inside"

Nabi shook her head, "No no I'm fine, it's not that far away"

And he didn't listen as he honked, and waited for the guard to open up the gates. As soon as they were open, he asked,

"Where to?"
Nabi sighed, "Left and then right"

He didn't even move forward one centimeter before nabi interrupted,
"Wait-wait-wait, go straight instead"

Jeno just nodded and drove forward, slowly to make sure he doesn't run over a cat or a child or something.

"Stop here"
The jeep stopped and Nabi opened the door and got out, closing it again, Jeno did the same.

Nabi walked towards Jeno and stood a few feet away from him, as he leaned on his jeep.

"Thank you Jeno, also this is my place"
She pointed to the apartment at the first floor, Jeno nodded remembering he has to come here tomorrow for discussion again.

"Thanks again Jeno, bye" She smiled waved, before rushing in the building, and running upstairs.

Jeno continued to look at the building until he heard a door open and close, he walked towards the building, glanced upwards at the closed door and no Nabi there and walked back to his jeep and drove away.

"You're back"
"Yeah, going to study now"
"Lunch?" Her mom asked, raising her eyebrow, Nabi haulted instantly as she was heading to her room.

"I'll eat lunch first"
Her mom nodded and went back to her room, Nabi walked in hers and locked the door behind her. Taking a deep breath as her mom didn't ask about how she got home or something.

Changing into a t-shirt and sweatpants, she ate her lunch and started to study. Drinking loads of water and studying non-stop, it had been five-six hours, but she was used to doing this ever since her high school started.

Stretching after she was done, she shoved away all her books and laptop and sprawled on her bed. Laying there for about 20 seconds, her eyes widened suddenly, realizing she doesn't have Jeno's number.

"Fuck" she picked up her phone and scrolled through her contacts and called someone.

"Jaemin what's up"

"Yeah nothing much, how are you? Have you eaten yet? Are you done with studying?"

"Yeah i just got done. Jaemin i need your help"

"Yeah what's up?"

"You're the class president right? Do you have Jeno's number? You have numbers of all students and teachers right?"

"Yeah, wait you don't have his number and you guys are working on a project together?"

Nabi sighed, "Yeah, can you please? I forgot to. Dude we're so fucking awkward, i want to talk to him but... ugh"

She heard Jaemin laugh,
"You're fine, you'll be fine, don't worry"

She laughed, but just through her nose, "i know, it's fine. He's not that bad to work with, and actually works"

"Really? That's a bit surprising..."

"What? Why?"

"Nabi, he's kinda failing his classes... like almost all of them... especially physics. I don't even know how he's working with you so calmly, that's why i thought you'll be going through a hard time"
