Just another Phanfic...

Chapter Two

~~Leah's POV~~

I'm welcomed home from work by Holly screaming to me from in the living room. This girl was loud unfortunately for me, meaning that I couldn't get away with ignoring her.

"Leah! Get in here now!"

Thinking there was something wrong, I ran to to see if all was okay. Turns out she was fine, probably just another "fangirl attack" as she calls it, I knew this because she was sat there with wide eyes and a giant smile on her face. I wasn't too impressed, considering I just did a form of exercise to get to her.

"Holly calm down, I seriously thought something was wrong, don't do that to me" I whined, slightly out of breath from my sudden movement.

"Look at this" she said excitedly, clearly ignoring me.

She pointed to her computer screen and showed me that her new phanfic had already gained over 2000 reads.

"Holly, how did you manage that?!"

She smiled again and showed me her YouTube channel, and pointed towards her subscription bar. 1000.

"Holly! I'm so proud of you!" I shouted and pulled her into a hug, pushing the laptop aside. She squeezed me back and I could feel her smiling.

"By the way, this means that you're buying me a pizza and we're having a movie night!"

I laughed, she had quite clearly not forgotten the deal that we made back when we were 14. I told her if in the future she made a YouTube channel then I'd buy her a pizza and a movie to watch.

We made friends when I was 12 and she was 8, it was a strange friendship because when we were young, we were expected to be friends with people our own age, but it made us like sisters which we absolutely loved. I had recently moved two houses away from her, and 13 years later, we couldn't be closer. She likes to call us the female version of Dan and Phil due to our close friendship. It's been her dream to meet the pair and I've always said that I will go with her. We went to playlist 2 years ago and we were in the queue to meet them however one fan rugby tackled the pair so they were no longer allowed to meet their fans for that day. Holly and I would love to go again but we're quite low on money, as I am on minimum wage and she is only working weekends because of uni, and we're already behind on our rent due to the trip to America.

Right now we're living in London and our families live a few hours away. This means that we're pretty much used to living without them now after 4 years of living here.

Holly made an attempt to return to her "browsing position" as her God calls it but I stop her.

"Come on, we're going out!" I announced.

"Wait, no! Dan's uploading tonight! t's a rare occasion you know!" She moaned.

"You can watch it when we get back, lets go!"

She groaned again then hesitantly rose from her seat. I lead her out of the flat, leaving her to lock the door while I started up the car. We had already decided between us that I always drive when we go out together, as she drives like an old lady with osteoarthritis.

"Where are we going?"

"Lets go see Big Hero 6" I smirked, knowing that she has been dying to see it since the boys announced that they will be in it. I only agreed to this movie because Fall Out Boys' new song is in it, and she doesn't have to know that I watch Dan and Phil during my lunch break at work.

"Woop woop, but what about pizza?" Holly was truly asking the important questions...

I held a finger up to my lips, implying that we will be sneaking some into the cinema. She laughed at my suggestion but then agreed with me soon after.

At the end of the movie, Holly insisted we stayed until the end so that she could take a picture when Dan and Phil appeared on the credits. I sighed and allowed her to, though I saw no reason to take a picture of their names when she watches them all day everyday.

When Holly had the pictures she wanted and we had left the cinema, we drove home and returned to bed after a successful day for her, it couldn't get too much better eh?
