Chapter Six

~~Leah's POV~~

"Holly! Come on! We've got to leave now!" I summoned my friend from her room.

The weekend had arrived pretty fast unfortunately. I'm really excited to meet Phil, Dan and Phil I mean, but I am still not happy about being on camera.

"I'm coming! Remember, you're driving!" She yelled back.

No wonder our neighbours often got mad at us.

I replied in agreement and then practically dragged her out of her room.

"Is this black enough?" Holly laughed, showing me her outfit.

She was wearing black DMs, black skinny jeans and a black crew neck jumper with a kitten on the front, her perfect hair just falling past her shoulders.

"Yes" I laughed. "Is this pale enough?" I joked in return, gesturing towards my light blue skinny jeans and my flowy white top.

She laughed in return and left the house.

We jumped in the car and plugged in our seatbelts and set off, with My Chemical Romance as todays playlist, my car my rules as I always insisted.

~~Phil's POV~~

"They're here!" I yelled up to Dan, who was probably still checking that his fringe was perfect.

I couldn't help but think that Dan was trying to impress this 'Holly'. I opened the door to let the girls in.

"Ohmigod, hi Phil!" said the girl with blonde hair. Her friend stood behind a bit and laughed slightly at her friends enthusiasm.

"Hi!" I smiled back.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm Holly, nice to meet you finally!" She laughed, so this is one Dan was trying to impress.

She pulled me into a hug and I chuckled as she did so. Well, she wasn't shy at all.

"Hi, I'm Leah." the other girl smiled as she reached her hand forward for me to shake.

"Hiya!" I shook her hand and smiled in return.

Leah had her hair plaited over her head and I must say, it did look like one of those things that Zoe does with her hair, but hey, what do I know?

"Come on in," I invited them into the living room and Leah closed the door behind them.

Dan had his music playing out loud from upstairs so that meant he was still getting ready to film.

"Mercy" by Muse was playing and it seemed as if Holly knew all the lyrics already due to her lip syncing.

"Dan! Hurry up, they're here!"

"I'm coming, Jesus Christ Phil!"

I heard Dans unmistakeable stomping, which meant he was using the stairs. I was right and within seconds Dan was in the room with us. Holly immediately stepped forward to greet Dan with a hug.

"Oh, hugs, yep, hugging" Dan muttered awkwardly into the hug with a little laugh.

I shook my head, mocking his ways.

Leah took her previous approach of a simple handshake and a warming smile.

"It's lovely to meet you both," Leah smiled sweetly, "Could we possibly recap what we're doing for the video? I've been trying to avoid the whole concept of it if I'm being honest." She joked.

"Yeah of course," Dan laughed, "It's like a Mr and Mrs thing, except for it's me and Phil versus you and Holly, should be fun!"

A few hours passed of getting to know each other before we decided to set up. For some reason Dans laptop started messing up, it had a screen full of coding which delayed the video a bit.

"Jesus! Why can't this fucking work?!" Dan shouted in fury.

"What's wrong with it?" Leah questioned.

"This laptop, it keeps flashing up random stuff, don't worry about it, it's just fucking annoying"

"Let me have a look" Leah announced, taking the laptop. "Ah, it just needs coding."

"Okay, I'll call someone." Dan said defeatedly.

"Oh don't do that, I know coding" Leah smiled, "Just give me a minute..."

Leah sat there for around 2 minutes typing seemingly random numbers and codes into the computer before pressing enter and returning the laptop to Dan with a sweet yet modest smile.

"All should be fine now, any future problems, let me know."

"How on earth?!" Dan questioned, soon to be answered by Holly.

"She spent 4 years learning all types of coding, a skill that I could never achieve," Holly laughed.

"Wow" I laughed, impressed.

"Lets get going then, before I change my mind about all of this" Leah joked.
