~

its been a week or less since I have been friends again with vana since college and I'm already feeling attached to her, I was never good with my feelings it confused me and scared me not knowing if the person I liked even liked me back

we were now on our way to my apartment to set up the monitor I didn't stream or take gaming seriously, I usually just played them for fun so I didn't really know much on setting up a double monitored PC

we finally got to my apartment and I opened the door my cat shadow going near my foot and rubbing her head against my leg

"hello" I said bending down to pet her "this is shadow" I said picking her up and bringing her closer to alexa so she could pet her

"aww shes so cutee" alexa gushed "my brother has a cat, i stole him once but he noticed and got his cat back" alex said laughing

god her laugh made me have butterflies

"well I hope you dont steal my cat" I said jokingly "hmm I wont promise anything" Alex responded laughing

we were now fixing the monitor and alex accidentally pulled something and she cant figure out where to plug it

"hold on i'll call clay" she said it was around 12 already tho so I told her we can just fix it tomorrow but she insisted on calling him

ALEXs POV
~

"CLAYY" I said as he picked up the phone "what do you wanttt" clay responded

"I went to give mana the monitor but it seems I have pulled a .. cord or something I don't know where to plug it back in tho" I said with a nervous chuckle

"here show me the cord" he said I showed it  to him "isnt that the keyboard or mouse plug" he asked confused

"yes it is"

"then put it near the power button" he responded

"theres no more spaces to plug it in tho, wait let me double check, yea theres no more"

"then on the back side or other side of the PC"

"but there's none there to- OH SHIT there was an unnecessary plugged thing whoops" I said with a sheepish grin

"oh my gosh you blind idiot" clay said while laughing at my stupidness

"oh fuck off, thank you thooo"

we hung up after talking for a while and I was about to head home when manatreed said I could stay here

"you could say here if you want its late its like 1 am already its fine if youre not comfortable with staying here tho" he rambled

"are you sure its fine with you" I asked not wanting him to feel the need to let me sleep at his

"yea its the least I can do, you literally bought me a monitor, actually also how much is the monitor" he asked me

"piss off your not paying a penny, it was free" I responded while smiling

"no how much was itt" ollie asked dragging out the 't' in it

"your not paying" I said

"yes I am"

"no you're not"

"yes I am"

"no you're not"

"yes I am"

"no end of discussion" I said trying to look serious ending the yes and no 'fight'

"fine but you're staying here, that's the least I can do" ollie demanded looking me straight in the eyes

"ok, but only since you want me with you so much" I responded with a playful smile

"yea yea" he laughed rolling his eyes playfully "I'll sleep on the couch you can sleep on the bed" he added

"definitely no-" I said being cut off by ollie getting up from where he was sitting to head to his bedroom only to come back with blankets and pillows with him

"good night" he said smiling heading to sleep "I- fine good night mana" I said giving him a little hug and headed to his room

it was 3 am I've been up for 1 or 2 hours so far and I still couldn't sleep, I decided to go and check if ollie was awake

I went to the living room and saw him awake "hello, why are you up?" I ask him "well you're up too" he said with a quiet laugh

"well I couldn't sleep" I answered putting my legs in a cross cross apple sauce position "me too" ollie said

I then laid down beside him just starring at the ceiling "can I sleep with you?" I asked him turning to the side seeing him looking at me already

"I mean I don't really have a choice now do I?" he said jokingly "I guess not Mr. Manatreed" I said

after a while I felt my eyes getting heavier and soon falling into a deep sleep that I haven't had in a long time
