𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄; nightmare

ALEXs POV
~

it was now night time, we were gonna go eat dinner together we didn't really know any places to eat near us and we were all too lazy to search for places near us so we just asked George instead

he said there was a pizza place near us so that's where we got dinner we started telling stories and other stuff

clay told us about patches always messing around the house and how she would knock down chairs leaving sapnap always putting them back up right

I told them also about the teacher in me and manatreeds class who annoyed both of us apparently

"OH oh and we had to do this one test, my classmate who was a teacher's pet got a higher average than I did even if I got higher scores than her" I continued complaining

"OMG OMG I remember this one time we- we were doing the like chemistry experiment me and ollie were partners, and I saw the button of this girl in front of me fly out, because her shirt was a little too small on her and so the button flew and it hit her beaker and the thing inside just exploded and me and ollie just tried- tried to hold our laughter in" I said starting to wheeze at the memory

"OH MY GOD I STARTED TEARING UP AND TURNING RED WHEN THAT HAPPENED TRYING TO HOLD MY LAUGHTER IN"

everyone just laughed and after dinner we all went back to our hotel rooms

I went in mine, closed the door and changed into PJs it took a little long for me to get to sleep tho because of jet lag but I was able to sleep

"i- I can't do this anymore the hate is getting to me, and I think it's best if we call off our friendship too for now, I'll come back I promise" ollie said

"you- you can't do this, you're all I have, you're the one helping me through all my shit" I cried out

"please don't leave me like everyone did" I said sobbing harder than a while ago

"I hatw to do it, you know that but its what's best for both of us I'm keeping you from doing things and you know it, I'll see you soon, bye for now" he said leaving the door

I shot up shaking in cold sweat and breathing heavily I couldn't handle someone leaving me like that again

tears were streaming down my face trying to contain myself from having a breakdown I got up pacing around the room taking deep breaths

it wasn't working so I tried and messaged ollie, he wasn't responding making my heart rase increase thoughts of bad things happening to him flooding my brain

I got to his room knocking biting my nails, after a minute he came to the room his eyes half open, probably waking up from the knocking

"hey what're you-"

I gave him a tight hug cutting him off

"hey hey you're shaking what happened are you ok??" he asked hugging me back for reassurance

"i- I thought you left- left me I thought-" trying to catch my breath from hyperventilating

"breathe come on breathe with me" the boy said breathing in and out the shaking girl following after the boy

"ok, are you good?" he asked

she nodded her head in response

"ok what happened? bad dream?"

she just nodded her head again, words not being able to form

"I'm sorry for just bursting in your room, I had a nightmare" she said slowly still not being able to comprehend what was happening much

"its fine, its fine what happened?"

"you left me and I had no idea why, I forgot why, but you left and it hurt me a lot"

"its fine im here I'm not going anywhere I promise" the boy said hugging the girl and cuddling her in the bed

"deep breathes" he said noticing her starting to breathe rapidly again

"that's right" her breathing normalizing slowly

soon after they both fell asleep, in a sleep with no nightmares but a sleep with cuddles and clinging onto each other
