I met Kacchan at the train station in the morning so we could go to UA together. Even if we are in different classes, we have the same general destination... and I need the moral support of my best friend! Well... Sort-of only friend, but we don't need to think about that right now.

The ride was silent as we were both a little too preoccupied with our own thoughts to muster up a proper conversation. It wasn't until the giant building that was UA was in sight that we finally spoke that morning. "Good luck today, nerd." Kacchan gave me a soft shove and walked ahead.

"You too!" I yelled after him.

"Tch. Like I need luck." He turned around to smirk at me.

I just rolled my eyes and took my time to find class 1-C. Kacchan is in one of the 2 hero courses, 1-A, so we won't really see each other much during school. Besides lunch of course, though I'm sure he will want to hangout with his new classmates instead of me. Maybe I will make some more friends as well! Now is probably the time to make friends since they don't know I'm quirkless yet.

Too lost in thought, and probably muttering quietly, I ran into someone. I let out a yelp in fear of what the person might do. "I'm so sorry! I was lost in thought and wasn't watching where I was going!" I quickly bowed apologetically.

"It's fine." The person spoke tiredly. I finally looked up at them and took in their appearance. They had fluffy purple hair that looked almost as messy as mine and they had massive designer eye bags suggesting they hadn't slept properly in a while.

I was a little taken aback by the lack of hostility at my accident. Probably because he doesn't know about me yet. "Well maybe I'll see you around? I'm Midoriya Izuku by the way. I'm in 1-C! What class are you in?"

"Shinsou. Also class 1-C." His expression seemed tired and possibly uninterested.

"Cool! I'm glad we ran into each other then, now I'll know at least one person in class!"

"It'd be more accurate to say you ran into me. And the classroom is just over there-" he pointed to the nearest door across the hall "so it is logical we'd both be lookin for it." I blushed a little feeling a little dumb for not realizing I had walked all the way to the classroom.

"You make a good point." I chuckled awkwardly. "Well, I guess I'd better get inside and find my desk." I pointed towards the door briefly before running inside.

There weren't many people inside yet, just a girl with pink hair and cat-like ears and a boy with really short hair and pointy ears. Neither looked up when I opened the door, luckily for me, so I just looked towards the chalkboard to find my assigned seat. I sat in a seat on the wall nearest to the door in the second row... right behind Shinsou.

Hopefully he doesn't hold our earlier encounter against me and we get along! There's still about a half hour before homeroom so I pull out one of my analysis notebooks and start sketching. I still haven't fully designed a hero costume, and since I'm not enrolled in one of the hero courses I have extra time.

My original designs were all based off of All Might, but I don't feel the same admiration for the number one hero as I used to. So, I need to change things up a bit. I think something relatively basic would do me well. I want to keep my green color scheme, though a dark green would be best. A bright green is too eye-catching and noticeable.

I also want some resemblance to my fighter outfit, even if it is plain. The dark turtleneck should stay, I think a darker green rather than black though. It also needs to be a different material, resistant to extreme temperatures and explosions/ other major impacts. I also like my cargo pants, they allow movement easily and they are comfortable. Black would also still work, so the only major changes should be again more protective material. I'll also need knee pads of sorts, a red as an accent color would fit my style well.
