He started walking in the school with 5 other unfamiliar boys. They in a gang or something?

He looked way different. And what made me happy at my highest, was that he came here. And that I was able to see him again. Finally!
As he was walking past a group of people near us, we made eye contact. After all these years. The loving eye contact we both held. But this time, it's not that lovely. It's quick.. which was weird and understandable. He and his friends walked past us, not even looking at me again.
What's wrong with him now?
It's like I'm nobody to him.
Does he not know that I'm his best friend since 2nd grade, and how much I've missed him? Gosh. Suddenly, Mi-Hae started to shake me as I widened my eyes.
"Girl! You were standing there wondering into space for a long time! Even staring at that Taehyung guy!" I glared at her as I shook my head.
"Sorry. I was uh thinking about something. Let's go." I embarrassingly walked away as they ran up to me.
"Admit it!! You like him?" Lia asked as I groaned in annoyance. If only.
"What the hell? You think so? Nope." I said going into math class and left them standing there.
