we were both walking to my house. talking about stupid and funny things.
"Do you wanna hang out tomorrow since it's a Saturday? I'll give you my number." He stated as I quickly nodded. Reunions do feel amazing.
He took out a piece of paper with his number on it, and handed it to me. I gladly took it and slipped it in the pocket of my coat.
We both stopped as my house is in front of us. We both faced each other with kinda a far space between us.
"Thank you for making me smile again by seeing you after those years. I never think I would even see you ever!" His words were so heartwarming that it feels like a dream.
"Same. And you're welcome. See you!" I said while going up the stairs to my front door. I turned around and waved at him. He waved back. I then went inside and closed the door while jumping in excitement. Becoming this relieved assured me that best friends reunite once again.
