I awoke like every morning.

Tired.

Angry.

Annoyed.

But as well as that, I was sore and numb. My head screamed at me violently and my throat burned. My legs ached and my eyes blurred. I rolled onto my side.

It took me ten very long minutes to realise I wasn't in my bed.

Wasn't in my room.

"The fuck...?"

I sat up, but a horrible pain in my stomach made me wince.

There was a girl lying beside me.

A girl with brown hair.

Skinny and perfect.

Shirtless and wrapped around in a white sheet.

Oh shit.

It was Amanda.

I reached for the ground for where my shirt lay. Fingers crossed, I threw one leg off the bed and hoped the floorboards wouldn't creak.

"Mmmfm."

Amanda let out a loud groan and opened her eyes. A smile crossed her perfect face

"Great time last night, hey?"

Honestly, I didn't know. No memory of how I was in a bed with Amanda came to me.

"We should do that again."

Do what again...?

Sleep together?

"Why are you so quiet?" Amanda asked with a pout.

"Oh... I'm just not a morning person, yenno?"

Amanda shook her head. "You don't remember what we did last night, do you?"

I remained quiet, and Amanda let out a loud laugh.

"Oh Joshy. You will remember eventually."
