Ivan:
I wave to my family as they drive off. I really did it, I didn't go to the family reunion. I walk back inside and sit down next to Aunt Rose. She paused the show she was watching and turned to me. "So, Ivan, what is it that you want to do?"
"What do you mean?" I asked, kind of puzzled.
She stroked my cheek. "I don't get to spend much time with you anymore, so I want us to go out and do something together."
I looked down at my feet. What could we go do? "How about we go to the mall and see a movie?"
She thinks about it for a minute. "That sounds like a good idea. So when do you want to go?"
"Like as in later today or sometime tomorrow?"
"We can go today if you want. All I have to do is get dressed and put some make-up on."
I turned to her, getting a little excited. "Okay then, how about in an hour or so?"
"Kay, I'll go get ready." She said, throwing off her blanket and hopping up.
I jump up with her and grab my suitcase. I head to the bathroom as Aunt Rose went to her room. I pulled my suitcase up on the counter and dig through it for my brush and some day clothes.
After we got ready Aunt Rose drove us to the closes mall and we went straight to the theater to see what was playing. We agreed on a movie that had been showing previews on TV lately and got the tickets for the showing that was coming on in about an hour.
Aunt Rose handed me my ticket. "You can go to any store you want, or go do just about anything you want to, as long as you stay in the mall and get back here in time. I got to go see my girlfriend." she said the last part with a wink.
I waved my hand to her as she walks away. I head in the opposite direction to a game store to see what's new. Along the way I happen to look in a store that had a bunch of cool t-shirts and gamer merchandise. I check the time real quick before walking in.
I go over to the rack of sweaters to see what was there. As i'm flipping through them I feel someone watching me so I look up and see an adorable lamb staring back at me.
