Chapter 9 - My Dream Came True?

For a second,I thought I was dreaming again. But,it wasn't a dream. Someone actually kissed me in the lips just like in my dream that I had recently. The kiss had a tasty and addictive sea salt scent,a scent I never thought I'm going to taste. There was the party just like in the dream,Latte and I made up again just like in the dream,and someone kissed me in the lips just like in the dream. So,it wasn't just my imagination - my dream was a sign of my future.

But,in my dream it didn't show who kissed me. So,I turned round. And it was...
SORBET SHARK?!

I replied :
'Sorbet Shark,I saw you. Tell me...did you kiss me?'

Sorbet Shark gestures so I follow them. They went into the water.

So I said :
'Jellius Breathus Waterus!'

Now,I was able to breathe underwater,so I could follow Sorbet Shark.

They said :
'Cream Puff,hi. Yes,I kissed you. I'm pansexual,so I don't choose by gender or look,I choose by personality. And,I really like you,more than a friend,it's just I was really shy cause I thought you'll think I'm weird. I'm a shark,but I wish I could talk on land,just like every other Cookie.'

I blush hot and say :
'Sorbet Shark,you're not weird. Being non binary or not being to talk on land isn't weird. You're a shark,and it's already a huge effort you understand our language and that you can speak it in water. And,these days there are lots of non binary people so that's now weird either. You're not weird in anyway - you're just very different,unique and special. I adore your stories about shipwrecks or Atlantis - it's just so fascinating. You shouldn't feel bad for who you are because being yourself is a good thing.'

Sorbet Shark says :
'You're so clever,so cute,so honest and that's what I love about you. And,even if I don't pick by look or gender,I have to admit you're beautiful. Believe in yourself,Cream Puff. Because if you won't,I will kill anyone that makes you think you're ugly and dumb.'

I can't help but still blush. No one ever said such things before and I think of them in such a way too.

I hug into them and whisper :
'Sorbet Shark,you actually mean it?I...thank you so much. For so many years,I was wondering would any one care about me,but now I know that you and the rest of our group would care. I can't help but...'

They bring me closer and I follow. Our faces are so close that they almost touch. Then,we reached out our lips and we kissed. Then,we did again. And again. This was so addictive,such a desire and I can't resist it. Now,I know how true love feels like. Amazing.

I personally had a crush on Sorbet Shark since Year 9,the beginning of Year 9. I didn't tell anyone - not even Pumpkin Pie,so to not explode I have a diary where I wrote all my thoughts. And,now they ask if I like them in such a way. Of course I do!

We let go,but it was quite hard. Neither of us wanted to but we didn't want our friends to worry.

IM THE MEANTIME...

Pumpkin Pie asked :
'Is it just me who's worried right now?Cream Puff has been on the 'short' walk for a while. Also,Sorbet Shark has disappeared. It's obvious they are underwater swimming laps around the cave but usually they'd be back quicker.'

Parfait replied :
'Yeah she's right!But where are to find them both?'

Pumpkin Pie said :
'Latte,look underwater for Sorbet Shark. If you find them that'll be good. Cream Puff was walking towards the woods so she's probably there somewhere.'

Latte nodded and then went underwater. She didn't have to look long for us to see that we were about to kiss again.

I feel Latte's eyesight focused on us. I turn round.

I ask :
'Latte?What are you doing here?'

Latte smiles and replies :
'We started to get a bit worried because I thought along with Parfait and Pumpkin Pie that something happened to you and Sorbet Shark. However,clearly you had fun on your own.'

I blush awkwardly.

Sorbet Shark said :
'Oh yeah...we were supposed to come back anyways.'

Latte giggles. She says :
'Come with me you two,before Pumpkin Pie gets some paranoia that I disappeared too.'

We all giggle and swim with Latte back up to the surface.

Pumpkin Pie says :
'Thank god,you found them Latte. Let's all go to sleep because I'm very tired after this really long walk to find Cream Puff.'

Everyone nod. I go to sleep in my bed,Latte and Pumpkin Pie using magic made tents for themselves outside the cave. Parfait got a sleeping bag and put it next to me,while Sorbet Shark went to the water and fell asleep there.

A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER...

I woke up at sunrise. I went out and I was about to go to the water,to Sorbet Shark.
But then I thought :
They are still sleeping,why bothering them?
So,I actually went towards the woods this time.

The birds,the foxes,rabbits,ducks,all of the animals there were beautiful. In the Cookie Kingdom there aren't as much animals and even if to some it's not a deal,to others it is a bit sad. For me it was really sad,as I'd sometimes see on Instagram photos of celebrities' pets. And seeing so many beautiful little creatures at once made me very happy.

Anyways,moving on from animals,what happened yesterday...I still can't believe it's true. Everything seems too perfect for it to not be my imagination,not my dream. I feel like in a moment I'm going to wake up and everything will end. Did you ever have this feeling before?

If you did,how is it like?For me,it's a nice but terrifying feeling at the same time. In any second,everything can shatter but at the same time I really wanted it. I don't know if you get what I mean anyway. Sometimes I'm confusing and say some random stuff.
