chapter 22 Rica the pharaoh of the Nile

Rica tells Damian Voss "long ago in my home land Egypt, I was born into a family who were slaves. I was there with my family a new person, though I was born a male my family accepted me, for coming out to them as a woman. During the seven hundredth day getting materials to build the pyramids, I found something in the dirt." Damian Voss asked Rica "what did you find in the dirt?" Rica tells Damian Voss "I found a brass lamp covered in gems, the guard saw it so I had to hide it in my clothes. The guard took me home and told me I know what that is,don't worry I'll protect you once you make your wishes. Damian Voss asked Rica "what did you do next?" Rica tells Damian Voss " while I was trying to show the gard what I found I rubbed the dirt off the lamp, then as I rubbed the lamp a Djinn came out of the lamp." Damian Voss asked "what did the Djinn look like?" The Djinn was nine feet tall and it was human like, with skin made of gold. Damian Voss asked Rica " what did The Djinn want? Rica tells Damian Voss" the Djinn was thankful that I freed it, in return I was offered three wishes." Damian Voss asked Rica "what did you wish for?" Rica tells Damian Voss my first wish was I wish everyone was truly happy, my second wish was for a better pharaoh, and for my thirdand final wish was to have peace in Egypt and no slaves." Rica then tells Damian Voss, "as soon as I said all of the sudden, I saw I became a woman and I was the new pharaoh, I asked him what happened I didn't wish this, but he told me" Djinn tells Rica "you wished for everyone's happiness, everyone includes you miss Rica" Rica tells Damian Voss "just then all the gods tried to attack my city but then as soon as the god of darkness Apophis attack, your father cut through the god with his blade like it was nothing." Rica also tells Damian Voss "your father tells me to make sure the people were safe,then he killed all but two of the Egyptian gods. that I did the last two Egyptian gods never attack my city ever again, my city is under a magic field no one has ever entered with out being heros of the city or born in the city, of course I see the Djinn now and then but it's only for short periods of time." Rica tells Damian Voss "no matter what happens in your life it doesn't change who you are as a person, only you can change yourself as a person." Damian Voss looks at Rica and hugs her. Rica and Atzi tells Damian Voss "you see vampirism is not a curse but it's a gift, plus you have abilities that are unique to you and your family." Damian Voss tells both Atzi and Rica "how can you be so sure?" Just Then Samuel tells Damian Voss, "Being a creature of the night is not that bad nor is it a curse, take it from me." Damian Voss and Rica also Atzi all asked Samuel, "what do you mean by that?" Then Samuel tells Damian Voss and Rica also Atzi "my story begins in the beginning of time. With all the primordial gods and myself creating the universe"
