''Bruno! Y/n is waiting for you at the door!" I heard my mama say loudly from downstairs.
Immediately heading to the door while trying and failing, as always, to make my hair seem more tame.
Y/n is the only one in the village that isn't scared of me! She's my really dearest friend.
The first time I saw Y/n was when she was playing with the other kids in the village. They were all delightfully playing and laughing with each other, until they noticed me. Then they started to leave to someplace else.
Just when I turned around to leave, to go find my sisters ,I felt a tug on my green ruana.
"Do you want to help me ,build a house tree?" The young girl asked ,looking at me hopefully with a nervous smile.
She was a little taller than me, but then everyone kind of was. Her h/c hair was messy and some tree branches could be seen sticking out here and there.
Her dress on the other hand, was neatly clean. Nice.
Ah! Focus Bruno! She's waiting for a response!
"Umm, a-are you sure you want m-me to help? Like ME, not a-anyone else? Me?" I asked to make sure she really wanted me to help and wasn't just pulling my leg or something.
"Does it look like Im talking to someone else? Of course you silly." She said with a giggle.
"A-ah, okay t-then. If y-you are really sure. I d-do be happy to help." I can feel my face burning.Dios mío, I must look like a fool.
"Thank you! What's your name? I'm Y/n!" She said while grabbing my hand and leading me to where the tree ,she wants to build the house, must be.
Her hand is so warm. It feels...nice.
"I'm B-Bruno. Umm, say do you, really not know who I am?"
I couldn't help it alright?! Everyone who knows me stays away. And how could she not know me? I mean the kids she was with all ran away, so she must know. I think...
"Carful over there, and yes, your one of the gifted kids. Everyone knows that, tonto." She giggled again while helping me around a fallen tree.
"Then, why d-" before I could finish asking her, I tripped and was about to fall face down.
She caught me. Huh.
"Because it dosnt really matter. Your still helping me right?" After receiving my nod ,she continued. "Beside your gift is seeing the future, not making it. I don't see why everyone makes it so complicated, honestly." Pouting a little, she continued to complain on and on about nothing in particular.
She's so sweet.
After that ,we were always together. We would go hang out in our tree house. It was our secret spot. We could spend hours there just talking. Also we had a good view of the village so we made up funny stories that ended up with us collapsing from laughter. Sometimes we would have sleepovers there. It was amazing! Staying next to each other and gazing at the stairs.
I love 'our together time'.
That's why, when those mean boys where trying to stop Y/n from spending time with me ,I was understandably, furious. What right do they have ,to come between my time with my Y/n. The audacity! They know nothing!
Y/n is the only one who truly understands and likes me for me. I will never accept losing my precious Y/n. Never.
And so I told them that unfortunate circumstances would happen to them if they continued to behave in such ways. They didn't listen.
And now no-one knows where they've gone! Idiots that's what they were.
They should have listened while I was being nice.
Anyway, since then Y/n has become a little stressed and anxious. Because she thinks what happened to them may happen again. So our visits to the tree house have reduced. So annoying.
But! On the bright side. Because our house is the safes in the whole village, Y/n parents asked for her to move her for some time. And isn't that awesome! We can spend even more time together.
Y/n has begun to become more comfortable and she's not so anxious anymore. So today we finally decided to go in a picnic at our tree house.
"Bruno! Finally your here. Help me carry these to our spot." Smiling Y/n handed me a basket with our lunch.
"Of course. Mi querida Y/n. Let's go...
