Honestly Luisa is protective of everyone in the family, on way or the other.
So no one was surprised when she got her gift she became even more protective towards y/n.
Y/n was her older twin by 2 minutes. They were always together, you never saw one without the other.
When they got their gift Luisa was sad that their gifts weren't the same. But she understood it couldn't be helped. On the other hand Luisa was extremely scared y/n may get hurt or worse she may hurt y/n accidentally. Super strength is no joke.
So Luisa made it her goal to master her gift so she could protect her family and more importantly her older twin.
Y/n gift was very gentle compared to hers. And because Luisa trained everyday plus the gift that gave her a bonus, their bodies difference was extremely noticed.
Y/n gift ,was shadow manipulation. Just as the words suggest, she can manipulat shadows, more specifically her own. She can't pass through shadows and change locations but she can make her shadow help around town. Moving heavily things ,for example ,she wouldn't outright carry them, but help the person who would, by making the weight decrease. So it was pretty useful. Plus her shadow could go around town, if needed ,and used as a form of communication.
Their gifts weren't the same but similar, in a way.
The thing that made Luisa basically plead to Y/n to not do anything is that, whenever Y/n uses her gift she gets physical week. To the point of losing conclusions.
One day ,they were happily chatting while heading home one moment ,and the next Luisa was holding Y/n who wasn't responding no matter how much Luisa tried to wake her. Luisa almost has a heart attack that day.
The worst part is that their mamas food didn't work at all with Y/n.
So after 2 whole hours of the family panicking and a huge storm curtsey of Pepa , Y/n woke up and was quite shocked to see Luisa crying her eyes out while gently holding her hand.
From that day on, Y/n wasn't allowed to use her gift too much ,if not at all. Y/n was kind of annoyed that only she was restricted to such things while Luisa overworked herself but there really wasn't much she could do.
After everything that happened the twins of the house could be seen chilling around the river or playful fighting, which resulted in cuddles on way or another.
Still Luisa hasn't really gotten over the time y/n fainted in her arms so shes always nearly her twin, just in case. And she may or might not have threatened the farmers to not ask her twin for help but come to her instead.
But can you really blame her. Y/n is so fragile, of course she has to protect su otra mitad.
Even if it means locking her twin in her room without any light.
She only wants to protect su frágil hermana.
