Chapter 24

I thought he was gone, I was so wrong, I was dead wrong, all this freaking effort just for nothing, William still out there doing God knows what, While I'm here trying to figure out what I did wrong. I somehow contacted Michael, he was a busy man  so I didn't want to bother him on a bad time. but with things going on in the world, I say we didn't have much to do, I took online classes now since my mom is scared I might  get hurt or sick with the baby, So I moved back with my mom, to be fair I missed being home, but that meant Delilah was by herself and I felt so bad about it, she was shocked that I was pregnant, but she looked at me no different she accepted me for being pregnant, I'm Thankful for her. I heard a knock at my door, mom went over to answer it,  I was just finishing up an essay, My teacher has been on my ass about it, I heard footsteps, ''Aalyiah you have company.'' said mom,  I looked up and saw Michael, he looked tired, Then again he is running a franchise, so makes sense for him to be tired, he sat down beside, I'll be in the kitchen if you need me  Said mom, ''I got a call from you, you sounded stressed out over something.'' He said, I sighed, I looked in the kitchen where my mom was, she was making dinner, I grabbed Michael's wrist  and we went to the backyard, we sat down on the bench, ''Look mom and the others have no clue I have time manipulation powers nor do they know I went back in time.'' I said, ''I understand that, but it sounds like your stressed out about something else.'' He said,'' I knew I had to come out and say it .'' I'm pregnant I said, it became quiet, even though I could hear birds chirping,  cars driving by, and kids playing in their yards, It still felt quiet, ''Your Dad is the father.'' I said to him, Michael came out of shock, ''How?'' he asked, I took a deep breath, Flashbacks  of what we did that night  crept into my mind which made me shudder. ''That day when you weren't home, the kids had a sleepover at your house with Elizabeth and Evan, your dad threatened to kill them and would put the blame on me for there disappearance, he threatened to to harm Dylan and fire him from his job, and even if I told someone, they wouldn't have believed me, I had no choice Michael I said, I was crying  feeling tears fall down my face, I felt Michael hold me in his arms, ''I'll help you.'' He said, ''You don't have to, I don't want your reputation being ruined because of me.'' I said feeling guilty, ''Nonsense, I should be the one to feel bad, I should have been there stop him, I knew my father was off, but to stoop that low.'' He said, he let go of me, ''I'm scared Michael.'' I said, ''Don't worry I've got your back. 

I didn't have the hear to tell him that his father was alive, well not alive alive, he was more like a virus, no doubt he would pop up on my phone or laptop at any given time, Night had fallen, I was in my room after taking a shower, I wasn't showing as much, but I was gaining a tummy, I can't believe I didn't know the signs, sure had irregular periods, but I was use to them being late because It would come on eventually, I sat on my bed and played on my phone, then I felt something off, Like I was being watched, I got up and looked out the window that was facing the backyard, I looked out and saw a White rabbit, it wore the same mask that Vanny gave me a long time ago. No it can't be her, the rabbit had a feminine built with feminine features to it, It could have been anyone, just not vanny, we made eye contact, we looked at  each other, as if we had each other in a trance, then the rabbit pointed pointed to her stomach, then to me, then my phone ringed, I slowly grabbed my phone and looked to see I got an unknown message, I opened it, ''I sent vanny to check on you love, you have no idea how hard it is to find out where you live, but I managed, it would be ashamed if anything happened to your mother. 

Then a picture of my mom sleeping popped up, there at her window was vanny, ''Leave my mom out of this !'' I screamed, I began to breath heavily it was getting harder to control it, the air around me getting tense, tears falling from my eyes and I felt my body shaking, I was having anxiety attack, I dropped to the floor and wrapped my arms around me, the tears wouldn't stop, why did I have to find out I have powers, why did any of this happened to me, just why, why why?  MY mom came in the room, she dropped to floor and held me in the arms, I gripped on to her  like I was going to lose her, ''It's okay sweetheart, I got you.'' she said, the tears wouldn't stop, I hated this, I hated him, I hate myself, I just wanted this to end, 

I just wanted this nightmare to end.
