Zoe's POV

"Seriously Zoe what the hell was that?" Paul demanded. After everyone was heading outside to eat.

She ignored him as two security guards and Callum escorted them to a room where they can wait for.... Well she wasn't sure what they were waiting for but something. They took them to the kitchen.

"Zoe I think almost objecting at a wedding you were not invited to is pretty fucking low. And that's coming from me." Callum poured a glass of wine and handed it to Paul. "How on Earth did she convince you to come with her?"

"I absolutely had no idea she would do this." He drank his wine.

Zoe pointedly ignored both of them. Paul was cute but he had been a means to an end. And her plan had failed so he was completely useless to her.

After a few moments Gaby, Marcus, Faye, and Pin walked in. Fire laced all four of their eyes. That was until Faye noticed Paul, then all her color drained from her face.

Maybe Paul wasn't so useless after all.

"Thank you for taking care of her Callum. You can go join the rest of the party." Pin said. He looked incredibly pissed. Zoe smirked as callum left. "You weren't welcome Zoe. I made that perfectly clear."

"The entire island was invited Duke, not my fault I was on the island still. Plus I had a date I couldn't let down."

"Paul why are you here?" Faye asked, she looked like she was about to throw up. Pin turned and saw her, he walked over to wrap his arm around her. Trying to comfort her.

Marcus and Gaby glared daggers at Zoe.

"Faye, I swear I had no idea it was your wedding. I met her in a dating app and this was our second date. If I had known I wouldn't have shown up."

"Who is he anyway?" Marcus asked.

"It's just her baby daddy." Zoe smirked. "I thought you would be happy to see your ex Faye."

Paul's eyes grew wide. "You knew? How did you know that?"

Zoe laughed and took his wine. Drinking it all in one gulp. She took her sweet time making herself comfortable.

"Oh paulie, it wasn't that hard. I just looked on her Instagram account. Really Faye you shouldn't share so much on your social media."

Marcus had to hold gaby back from punching her. Zoe wished she would then she could press charges.

"Noted." Faye said shaking.

"Zoe you're fucking crazy. Faye, Duke, I am so sorry this happened." Paul started. "I am just going to head home, congratulations. I Umm sorry again."

"Thank you." Pin said.

"You guys make a beautiful couple." Paul smiled as he left.

Zoe rolled her eyes.

"Marcus, Gaby. Can you please give us a moment. Go entertain the guests if you don't mind." Faye asked in a soft voice.

Gaby didn't look sure but went to leave "of course sweetheart. We can go check on the cake and get it ready." She smirked at Zoe's frown.

Anger coursed through her as the other two left. How did they have a cake ready already? She knocked it over.

"It's incredibly sad that you have nothing better to do with your life than harass my family and destroy wedding cakes." Pin said, sitting down and pulling Faye with him.

Zoe hated the sight of them together.

"No what's sad is marrying someone you don't love simply because you're royalty with a bastard daughter. Completely boring married life."

If Faye wasn't in pin's lap, she was sure he would've strangled her right then.

Instead he breathed hard, staring at her like he was the worst thing in the universe.

"First of all, never speak about my daughter like that." Faye spoke instead, looking every bit the role of a powerful duchess. Her grey eyes melted steel.

"Second of all. We are married because we love each other. She's my wife, and I love her so much. Our marriage has nothing to do with royal responsibility or that I had a child before our marriage."

"You can't love her," Zoe fumed. "You can't possibly love her. You love me!" She screamed.

Pin's POV

Pin made a you're stupid face. "I don't love you zoe, I haven't in a long time."
He couldn't believe the audacity of this bitch. To crash his wedding and start this drama.

"We were dating! You told me not to leave!"

"And then you did. And I moved on." Pin was seriously done. He could also feel Faye get more and more upset. "Guards, please escort Miss Phillips off the premises."

Without another word Faye and him got up and he lead her to a couch. They could hear the music from the party waiting for them.

She curled into him. Placing her head in the crook of his neck. Her dress covered them like a blanket.

"Well Duchess Hawthorne this is not what I was expecting."

She gave a small laugh.

"Well, My Duke, it certainly is not what I was expecting either." She kissed his neck softly.  She still looked a bit pale, seeing Paul must've freaked her out.

Paul and Faye didn't leave in bad terms, he wasn't ready to be a father and she respected that. He had paid more than enough child support until she asked him to sign away any rights so pin can adopt Jace.

"Are you alright, love?" He spoke softly, rubbing circles in her back.

She nodded. Then pulled back. "Let's go party with everyone else. We have a long night." She kissed him on the mouth this time. He returned the kiss happily. She crawled off his lap and held her hand out.

"Lets have fun, she's not worth it."

Faye giggled as pin scooped her up on his arms and carried her to their friends, family, and other wedding guests

Twelve  hours later and they were happily on a beach, the sun shining down on them and embracing them in its warmth.

They didn't know that a reporter had attended the wedding and heard all of the drama between them and Zoe. Had no idea that the reporter went and wrote a long and detailed article about Pin's crazy ex girlfriend.

They would be asked to give a statement. But that was later, for know they sunbathed while holding hands.  Happy to be together.

Zoe's POV

Zoe got the first message after she woke up. Her phone was blowing up with a few minutes. Texts from her parents checking on her, one from her sister.

They asked if she saw the news. Fumbling she ran down to her grandfather's living room and turned the tv on.

"Let's talk about the Wedding of Duke and Duchess Hawthorne. It was absolutely beautiful but there was one dark spot. Almost Olympic athlete Zoe Phillips."

"Fuck."
