Meeting family

Today was the day, where I meet hailee's family. I was quite nervous to say the least but I knew Hailee was gonna be there right by my side. As I put on a bit of make up and a cute outfit I make my way downstairs where Hailee is on the phone to her mom
"Mom, shes really nice I promise your gonna love her...and also please don't embarrass me because if you do I'm gonna have to leave."
"Okay I love you too, see you soon bye"

I stand there with a pink colour on my cheeks as the words "shes really nice I promise your gonna love her" slips out of her mouth.

Hailee turns around to face me and she opens her mouth wide. I keep the same smile on my face from before. She slowly starts walking towards me and grabs my waist against hers. Her forehead resting upon mine. "You look beautiful baby" Hailee whispers, sending the hairs on my back to stand. I laugh a bit and reply "you don't look too bad yourself Steinfeld"

She takes my hand in hers and leads me to our car. She drives obviously and on the way there all I could do was grow more and more anxious. I start to shake my leg vigorously and Hailee noticed. She reached her hand over to my thigh and said in her soothing voice "it's gonna be fine I promise, they are gonna love you y/n" she looks over at me with a smile across her face.

When we arrive at her gorgeous house
Hailee knocks on the door. She picks my hand in hers and interlocks our fingers together.

"Hello my beautiful daughter" hailee's mom exclaimed happily. "And you must be y/n, oh how wonderful it is to meet you." She goes in for a hug and she embraces me in her arms. This wasn't so bad.

When we enter the hall I could smell a lovely aroma around the room. Hailee takes my coat of and hangs it up on the hangers.
I make my way into the dining room where I met a very tall, intimidating man.
"Good evening, you must be the lucky lady I've heard lots of things about"
He shakes my hand, wow they are big.
"Oh please dad, I'm the lucky one" Hailee chimes in. I can't help but smile.

Another man approaches me "I'm griffin, hailee's brother. I hope your treating my baby sister well."
He says in a stern voice. I can't help but be a little bit worried. "Oh shut up Griffin, stop making her nervous. And yes she is treating me well and vice versa." Hailee replies to him in a very serious tone. Not gonna lie it was kinda hot.

We sat around the dinner table and everyone started asking about me and Hailee. "So, y/n what do you do for a living"
"I'm a costume designer, that's actually where I met your wonderful daughter, I was working on some of the outfits for Dickinson. I uh, caught of glimpse of Hailee and was immediately taken aback. Uh but yeah, I love it very much and I'm very happy at it. Everyone I work with is really great too."
"That's impressive" Cheri chimes in. I smile at her.

As the night went on and more and more alcohol was being consumed, Cheri, Peter and Griffin were getting a bit tipsy.
"Oh my gosh, remember we had the karaoke machine for Hailee and she would not get off it."
Cheri pulls up a video from her phone and runs over to me to let me see it. She was so cute when she was younger. "Mom!! I told you not to embarrass me"
Hailee says in an annoyed voice.
"Oh babe it's okay, it's really cute" I say to her squeezing her hand.

We all started to sing random songs that came to mind. "Hailee, why don't you go up and get your guitar and you can play us something" Peter asks.
"No I don't think that's a good idea dad"
I look her in her eyes and give her my best puppy dog eyes. "For me?" I ask knowing that she'll give in.
"Fine, for y/n"

Hailee leaves to go get her guitar. Griffin comes up to me and says "I've never seen her like that before...happy. All her exes treated her like shit but with you it's different, I can tell you are making her happy. And thank you for that." He pats me on the back and I reply to him "she makes me happy and I make her happy, thats all I really wanted to do" I say with a smile on my face.

Hailee returned back with her guitar in hand. She starts to retune the strings and starts to play.

Her voice was angelic I could sit here and listen to her for hours. As she finished I had tears in my eyes and so did Cheri. We all clap at her and she bowed.

As the night was coming to a close, we all said our goodnights and goodbyes.

Myself and Hailee walked out hand and hand. We start walking to our car but Hailee stops and pulls me back into her grasp. She plants a passionate but rough kiss. I grab her cheek and kiss back.

"Tonight was great love, you did so well"
"I thought so too" I smile and we continue walking to the car.

We got home and went upstairs to get into something ire comfortable. I slump on our freshly made bed. Hailee walked into the room with her hair in a messy but, a oversized hoodie and a pair of shorts. I don't know why but something about seeing her in her natural clothes makes me fall in love over and over again.

Hailee walks over to the bed as I sit at the edge. She takes her pointer finger under my chin making me look directly at her.

She rubs my jawline with her delicate fingers and makes her way up to my scalp. She starts rubbing gently on my head and it feels so good. I pull her onto my lap and rest my hands on her lower back.

We get into bed and she was the big spoon of course. My back against her perfectly toned stomach, hailee's arms wrapped around my waist scratching my stomach at time to time, legs intertwined.

There was nowhere else on earth that could compare to this feeling I get each night when we cuddle.

I turn around to face her and catch her eyes. "I had a lot of fun tonight"
"Me too" Hailee whispered.

We both lean in meeting each other halfway. Our lips connected and I could hear fireworks go off behind us.
We both pull away although secretly we never wanted to. "Goodnight my love" I whisper to her.
"Goodnight darling" she replies in a sleepy voice.
