She pulled up at the place just in time for him to get out of his car and sit on top of his hood. She walked up to his car and leaned against it.

They both watched the sunset and took everything in. Needless to say, both of them were nervous because of the outcome of what would happen between the two.

"Do you remember when I first drove you here?" he asked, looking at her. She continued to look forward and nodded. "Yeah, you took me out here on our first date." She smiled while he did the same.

"I remember looking at you that night. You honestly took my breath away. Each day I look at you, my heart skips a beat." He grabbed her hand while she rubbed his.

"You were so scared because of how high we are, but I kept telling you that I got you. I always got you." His deepened as he looked at her.

He took the paper out of his pocket and handed it to her. It was the same paper that he had given her during their argument. She closed her eyes because she refused to cry over something she couldn't control.

"It happened on July 17th when we both went on a break. The same night, I went to a party that I didn't even want to go to in the first place." He chuckled lightly.

"I was with some of my teammates. I didn't drink any alcohol because I was their ride. So, while they were having fun getting lit. I was standing in the corner just checking my phone to see if you would call or text me back to reconsider the decision about us being on break."

She looked at him while he continued, "My boy Marcus came up to me with a club soda and took my phone out of my hands. He told me to stop thinking about it and just enjoy the night. I didn't wanna listen to him, but eventually, I enjoyed my night."

" Yoooo, this shit is lit nigga. Get off your phone!" Marcus yelled at me, but I waved him off.

"She posted on her story, bro. Should I text her?" He gave me the really nigga look. "Bro, I done took yo Lana Del Rey heartbroken ass out of yo house. You need to stop worrying about baby girl. If she wanted to call you, she would've. Now take this damn club soda and get lit nigga!"

He gestured for me to take the drink, and I finally got out of my area and took the drink. "There you fucking go!" He yelled and I walked to the dance floor, City Girls' new song Act Up was playing.
