"Who's here at this hour?"

It is close to midnight when Yuna hears some knocking at her front door. She pauses her movie that has been playing on her TV and walks over to the entrance to check on the visitor, peeping through the eye hole to see an old friend standing before her apartment. With a cheerful smile, she opens the door and hugs them in an instant.

"Yeosang! It's been a while!"

An adorable chuckle leaves his lips as he returns the hug back, rocking her side-to-side. "It has."

Breaking the embrace, the female immediately ushers her friend into her apartment, so he can avoid the coldness of the night. However, he simply declines the offer and holds up a couple of envelopes to her. "This is for you. A friend wanted me to give it to you."

She takes the letters confusedly while trying to remember if she has done anything to receive it. The black-haired male laughs at her reaction, watching every single movement of her face as she scrunches her nose and squints her eyes at it.

"Who's this 'friend'?" Yuna asks, now curious of the sender identity. "Mingi?"

Putting a finger on his lips, he sends her a wink. "It's a secret. You'll find out when you open it."

He quietly yelps in pain when a hand slaps his arm and glares at the girl, who is not fond of his teasing. She rolls her eyes and lets out a scoff, displaying her annoyance to him, but that does not get a word out of the man.

"By the way, why did you need Wooyoung's address?" Yeosang quickly changes the topic, questioning his friend's peculiar request. "Did you send him something?"

Recalling the letters she sent a while ago causes her to hide her grimace with a smile, feeling embarrassed at the thought of her first love reading her love-sick messages from the past. "Yeah, I sent him something. It's been a while since we've gotten into contact, so I decided to send him a letter."

She acknowledges the male tapping his foot as a sign of him not falling for the excuse, but he does not question any further. He knows that she will eventually tell him, after all they've been close friends since high school. He'll just wait until the time comes, whenever she decides to tell him this secret.

The conversation then shifts again, the two of them talking about their day and catching each other up on the events that have occurred in their lives. Smiles are shared and laughter echoes in the silence of the night as they enjoy the moment together.

Soon, Yeosang decides to leave since he has work early in the morning tomorrow. Yuna embraces him once more and bids her goodbye before closing the door. She completely forgets about the movie lingering on her TV screen as she settles herself on the couch, lying on the comfy cushions and lifting the envelope above her face.

She takes some time to observe the letter, still confused onto why would someone send her a letter. Her eyes scan every single part of the envelope to see no name, and so she neatly opens up the envelope and pulls out the piece of paper hidden in it.

But when she reads the first few lines of the letter, she knows exactly who sent her this letter.
