"Mom! I'm going Cheerleading practice!" I called to my mother as I left the house. Here we go again.
My name's Lexi. And by Lexi I mean Lexianne Peters.
So, I'm the Captain of the cheerleading team. Some super cliche people might say, 'Oh, she's captain of the cheerleading team - she's perfect and has everything she could ever want!'
But I know better than to listen to people who say that. Mainly because that's just not me.
I'm sorry.
First off, I know I'm not perfect - no one is. Just because I'm head cheerleader and popular, doesn't mean I must be worshiped by everyone in the whole school!
"Lexi! OMG we have some juicy gossip for you!"
Yeah, that's all we pretty much did at cheer practice. Gossip. Not that I was interested in ANY of the things they were saying...because I really wasn't.
We have multiple cheer trophies, however, because I somehow manage to push the girls super hard to perfection like, a day before Competition.
I put on the most tangible smile I could muster and said, "Really?! What is it?"
The cheerleaders all smirked and then one named Shannon said, "I heard that Jason's screwing Mae! What do you think of that?"
She inspected her nails at the last part.
All I could think of was how much of a slut this girl was, but pushed the thought to the back of my mind.
"Wow! Omg that was unexpected, am I right?!"
Of course all the lost puppies agreed.
They grinned viciously once more before I got serious ( wwhich is what is what I've been this whole time, mind you) and then clapped loudly."Come on girls, we need to prepare for the game! It's coming up in a few weeks."
They all groaned, but ran out to the field anyhow. I rolled my eyes, joining them soon after.
This was how every Wednesday and Monday went for me.
Not so "perfect" now, am I?
((*))
Hey guys, sorry that chapter was so short. I promise they'll get longer and better.
Thx for reading!
I heart chu!
