Warnings- Uh, not really. Cursing but that's normal for Camp Camp.
I sit in the mess hall as I wait for David to come back with the new campers that are supposed to be coming today. For some reason Max followed him out. I wonder why. Max tries to stay as far away from David as possible. I know he finds his constant happiness absolutely horrible. Not the Max knows I know. Max probably doesn't even know who I am. I don't talk. Not even to David and Gwen. It's not that I can't, it's just I don't feel comfortable enough. I'm not close to anyone here. I don't even have anyone to share a tent with. Erid and Nerris share a tent and there is only two to a tent.
I get pulled out of my thoughts as I hear a distant scream from outside. I turn around and look out of the partially open window. I see the bus is here and it looks like David got hit. I hope he's okay. I see two kids hop off the bus. One is a girl with green hair wearing red coveralls and it looks like a band-aid on her face. The other kid is a tall boy with brown hair and brown pants. Nothing seems all that special about them.
I can see the green haired girl talking and moving around but I can't hear what she's saying. I notice David has gotten up and goes to shake her hand before she bites him. Wait, he bit him? Freak. I see David try and shake her off and I can hear his high-pitched scream. I decide to stop looking before things get weirder. Before I do though I notice Max has disappeared, before I can wonder where we went off to, I see Quartermaster reach into the bus and pull something out. It's Max. He must've been trying to escape.
I look around as I notice chaos slowly starts to happen.
Erid has her headphones on and is not paying attention to anything around her. Typical. Preston is praticing his acting skills. Again Typical. Harrison is trying out some magic trick. Cool. Dolf is playing with a paper airplane. He can anything with arts and crafts. Nerris is playing with some dice. Normal. But what catches my attention is Space Kid and Nurf. Nurf is controlling the fan speed while Space Kid is taped to one of the fan blades. When did that happen? Before I can fully understand what is happening, Gwen, the other counselor, starts throwing silverware up at Space Kid trying to get him down.
Well, this all escalated very quickly.
Suddenly the mess hall door swings open, and I hear David.
"Good morning, Gwen!" David says cheerily, obviously not noticing what is going on.
"Mother fucker." Gwen shouts.
That's when David notices the chaos. I can hear Space Kid screaming to turn up the fan speed.
"Nurf, you don't crank shit! Get down from there, Space Kid!" Gwen yells.
I see David panic a little before rushing over to Nurf and pushing him out of the way to turn off the fan.
"What is going on here?" I hear the new boy ask. That's a good question.
"I'm telling you, if we leave now, I can hot wire that bus." Max says. I doubt that but okay.
"This is amazing." Green haired girl exclaims.
I can tell she's gonna be a wild one.
David finally turns off the fan and the sudden stop causes Space Kid to fall. He's okay though.
"What the gosh darn heck happened?" David asks going over to Gwen. Ugh, can't he just curse like a regular person.
"Ugh, Space Kid is just pushing me to my limits again." Gwen sighs. It's not that hard to push her to her limit.
