A retelling of the XY series. I tried my best to make the story different from actual events while keeping a few things to make it feel as if it actually happened.

With my birthday coming up this week most likely I won't be posting another chapter until sometime next week. I want a chance to enjoy myself this time around but it won't be a long break maybe just a week or so.

Serena and Ash stood on one side of the battle field while Tierno and Shauna stood across from them. Tension in the air began to grow as the battlers were wondering what to expect. Clemont and Trevor who both just had an excellent battle sat on a log and watched from across the field.
Serena: what Pokémon are you going to use Ash?
Ash: I was thinking about Hawlucha but how about we use Froakie and Fennekin.
Serena: Great, I'm sure Fennekin would want to battle alongside Froakie again.
Ash: let's give it our all.
Serena: Right.
Tierno: I wonder what they're planning..
Shauna: we've never seen either of them battle but we still got to give it our best. Let's win this together Tierno.
Tierno: Yeah.
Ash: Froakie I choose you!!
Serena: Fennekin I need your help!!
Froakie and Fennekin: Froakie Fennekin!!
Trevor: No way each of them have a Kalos starter.. are they just traveling together for the first time? No Ash said he had a Charmander so.. Hmm let's see how this goes.
Tierno: I had a feeling you 3 each had a Kalos starter. It's something just like us only thing we all have Kanto starters. Squirtle let's show them how we roll!!
Squirtle: Squirtle !!
Shauna: Bulbasaur the spotlight is all yours.
Bulbasaur: Bulbasaur!!
Pokédex: Squirtle the bubble Pokémon a water type. Squirtle shelter inside of their shell and shoot water every opportunity they get. The bigger the blast the healthier the Squirtle are.

Pokédex: Bulbasaur, the seed Pokémon, a grass and poison type. It can go days without eating food as long as it has energy from the sunlight saved inside of its bulb. A healthy bulb increases the chance of evolution.
