On his way over Seth tried to follow him, and because of that Leah followed after them both. Jacob didn't want anyone to follow him, he wanted to do as he pleased, even if he does anyways. I love the boy to death like my favorite brother, but they both kill me each as I'm slowly dying a little bit inside each time I come into contact with them.
All teasing aside, that is who Jacob is. He does what he wants when he wants, plays by his own rules. I can't for the life of me figure out why EJ don't get along better. After all they're almost the same person, they complete each other. Stubborn in all ways of the word, but so am I and Bella, and always butting heads, but I have to say they've come a long way since the beginning.
Leah didn't want her little brother running off away from the pack, but if Bella and I were gonna get hurt because of the decisions Sam and the guys were trying to make mainly because of the treaty, then he wanted no part in it. And Jacob wasn't sticking around, had he still be the pack's leader it would be his choice to decide, Bella is still human, and they can't hurt her without hurting me and G-D forbid my dogs hurt me. After all the other pain I've gone through already....
Leah said she knew Sam's plan, that Sam hadn't realized she left, until they heard him. Jacob came to the house, he warned us that they were coming for Bella. They won't touch her Edward and I agreed. No, they won't. At least we were all in an agreement this time. If for no one else's sake other than my own, and the child growing quickly inside of my sister. They should try and go up against me. What with my powers all mixed up and a mess our twin powers stronger than normal.
They'd never do anything to hurt me, but they knew she'd die anyways, that to them what choice did it make. With the plan of Sam's brought to Carlisle's concern, we're more than glad that Jacob has done this for us, that we have him on our side if for no other reason for Bella and I. His old crush from childhood and old time best friend, and the "little" sister that is as much as one of us as I am them.
Now that they have left the pack they can't hear them anymore, it's nice. Jacob and Seth want Leah to go back. But she refuses. That she'll do what he wants except go back to the pack, that he didn't trust her around us, that she doesn't like him and doesn't particularly like me either. She said she didn't have to that she just had to follow him. That she won't get in the way, but she won't get back either.
Inside the house Bella's rib is cracked, it's not physically happening to me, but I suddenly feel a sharp pain there. I grunt in pain. Carlisle warns Bella that at this point the baby isn't compatible with her body, that her heart will dye out first. I clutch at mine suddenly I'm having trouble breathing, I feel dizzy. Because Sam the guys have the place surrounded waiting for their chance to strike and attack no one has hunted in two weeks. My aunt and uncle believe that we'll manage.
But it's the only excuse I can think why Edward is suddenly getting so hot headed and angry. That he believes that Bella has chosen to die by not killing off that thing inside of her, that it's killing her. That they were supposed to do this together, but she's chosen this. Like Jacob, Bella does what she wants when she wants. It's her choice that she wanted to be one of us, its her choice to keep or kill the baby, and as far as I know I'm the only one with her.
But this has taken its toll on all of us especially myself and Bella. Instead of getting angry, Edward comes to check up on me. I've gone outside to get some fresh air. Trying to breathe, trying not to feel any pain. To control my powers. I'm so jumpy that when he places a hand on my shoulder I turn and growl at him threatening to bite him, my eyes have turned red, then back to their brown color when I realize who it is.
Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. He wraps his arms around me. I breathe a sigh of relief. Are you alright? IDK. What happened in there, whatever Carlisle said you felt? He mentioned that Bella's heart would go out first and you looked off balance like you were gonna pass out, having trouble keeping balanced having a hard time breathing. You looked in pain when he mentioned that she had a cracked rib.
What's going on? You tell me! I suddenly snapped, Bella hasn't had any of the usual symptoms, not to mention that this is no ordinary baby.... So why am I? My eyes go dark. Everyone else gets concerned why I'm acting like this, but you've just been blowing it off! I'm sorry, he says sweetly playing with my hair. I calm back down, my eyes going back to normal. There, there. You're burning up. Where is Jack when you need him?
Hush up I tease playfully smacking his hand away. Anything else going on? You said I'm burning up, that's been happening a lot recently, or getting cold. I've been sleeping more often then not recently. Then I yawn, and rub my eyes. My eyes don't want to stay open.... Kid come on stay awake, stay with me. I begin to sway back and forth I become off balance. He lifts his arms under me to catch my fall.
Snow no, not now. He pleads softly. I lean my head against his chest. Stand up Snow, wake up. *Ug* he groans. Inside Jacob stays with Bella. The girls try to decide what is the next step on what they should do now. If only they could get some food into her system. If I could see it I could figure out what it wants. What's going on out there?
Jacob comes outside. I'm gonna utter words I never thought I'd have to say, help me. What's wrong with her? Everything you name it. BTW that's a great idea. We've set some out to the side. I was kidding he shrugs his shoulders. She's freezing more than usual. Hot, I mumble. Wake up Farrah. Maybe they both need some. That's not a bad idea. Let's go get them some. Edward shrugs. Mm I mumbled nuzzling up against him. She can't seem to make up her mind. First she's hot now she's cold but she says she's hot, but nuzzles up closer to you. Jake throws my arms around his neck. What is it that you were saying Jacob? Esme asks him. Blood. It was really only a snide comment but it seems like that's something they both need. What's wrong with her? She's asleep. Yes we can see that much.
Well, get them both some blood. It may be the only way. For Bella's sake that is, but get Farrah some O+ as well. We're all hungry, but she seems to be feeling the side effects that Bella should be feeling. Come with me Edward. Carlisle motions him. While they go and get the blood. Jake doesn't like the look of this, but he's reassured that it will make Bella feel better, and once she does her pulse is stronger. She says she feels better already.
When dad calls he wants to know how she's doing, if she's feeling any better, that she says she'll be going to a retreat kind of place a health center out in Switzerland. Dad doesn't like that idea, that he was gonna get on a plane right now and come after them. But Bella tells him no that she's really doing much better that she'd be feeling better by the time he got there. To just visualize the three of us at home eating pizza, or hanging out with the cousins or some 3rd thing.
Um Bella speaking of which there's something I need to tell you. Is it important dad? I'm not really in a good place with cell reception, at least not at the moment. I suppose it can wait. I love you Bella, send your sister my love. I will. She says brushing back my hair as I sleep on next to her. She smiles down at me as I lay across her lap. Bye dad. Goodbye Bella.
I twitch, I begin to shift and stir. Mm I hum. I begin to start sniffing around, then my happy hm noise becomes an mm like something smells good. I rub my eyes as I sit up. Morning sleeping beauty my sister teases. Ha-ha I laugh sarcastically. How are you feeling Bella? Better after getting some blood in me. I give a concerned look. We left some for you too. Another voice says on the opposite side of me, as a cold hand starts rubbing my back.
His other hand grabs the cup of blood and holds it out for me to take. Thanks E. I yawn and take a sip. Mm O+ Glad your feeling better. And, Bella I'm sorry, about earlier about getting angry. I would've too its ok. I've left you alone in this. It's ok because they say the first year is the hardest in marriage. I think after really noticing my sister's side effects to this whole thing even if she's not the one really having this thing that, that's when it really sunk in, that she was right, that everyone else had been concerned, but that I was just blowing her off.

And whatever it is, boy or girl I thought it would be a lot like me, but its not, the baby is good pure and happy. I thought this was mine and Bella's baby, but it seems more like Snow. Oh hush.
