You're so hypnotizing, could you be the devil, could you be an angel ~ Katy Perry

Day 203 out in the wilderness..nah I'm just kidding.

"How are we still out here!" Cora complained, throwing herself on the lounge chair.

"Relax, it's our last night. We leave tomorrow morning, so stop being a big baby about it," Eli plopped down beside her.

"Nico, stop moving," I bit my lip absentmindedly as I tried to paint his little toe nail. He sat across from me with his foot propped up on my knee. He wiggled his toes once I finished the blue coat of nail polish.

"Can I get purple on this foot?" He raised his other foot.

I giggled, "sure."

"Victor, do you want your nails done too?" Eli asked him, who had just come back from the lake.

He looked over to Nico and his eyebrows creased, "I'm good." He ran a hair threw his wet hair, to keep the wet curls out of his eyes. His eyes zoomed in on me and I dodged them, focusing back on Nico's nails.

"Can I get my nails done too," Cora pointed to the bottles of polish.

"Yeah, after Nico," I nodded. Maybe I should look into cosmetics as a career. The job I was doing at the moment looked great. I twisted open a bottle of purple polish and switched foots.

"Lunch is ready," Kendall called. We all dropped what we were doing and responded. Sloppy joes were plated with french fries and apple slices.

"Mom, why are you dressed like that?" Cora raised a brow.

"Dressed like what?" She stood back, peering down at her outfit. She was in a bright pink wetsuit, pink goggles, with a pair of pink flippers on her feet.

"Like some kind of Barbie ocean freak," Cora blurted.

Eli let out a chuckle that received a glare from Kendall. He zipped his mouth shut, looking down at his plate again.

"For your information, this is the latest fashion among women my age. Just because I'm not dressed in bikinis like you young people doesn't make it bad." She huffed.

"What were you, born in the 40s?" Cora sneered. Eli choked on his sandwich and dropped it to pat his chest.

"Do you have something to say Eli?" Kendall narrowed her eyes at her nearly dying husband.
He continued coughing, a spluttered "no honey," breaking up in between them. Kendall rolled her eyes and grabbed a water bottle for him. "Here."

He gladly took it and chugged down the whole bottle in a second. Kendall sighed, waddling away from him. "I'm going to the lake, don't wait up." Eli dropped his food, and tried catching up to her but her webbed feet sped up at each step.

Cora and I burst into a fit of laughter. I held onto my stomach trying to catch a breath. She lifted her hand for a high five and I smacked her hand weakly.

"I'm going to the lake," I crawled out the tent and pulled my curls into a high bun. I made sure to have a towel with me in my arms.

Kendall jumped up from her chair, "at this time?" I glanced around at the dark area, huh it did get pretty dark didn't it.

"Yeah but the lake is only a two minute walk, I'll be fine." I waved my hands.

She shook her head, "No ma'am, I can't let you go alone. You're going to have to take Victor with you."

"I think Victors asleep-"
