Sirius tossed fitfully on his mattress, trying his best to ignore the pain of his bruised and beaten body enough to fall asleep in the dark and gloomy room that had been his for as long as he could remember. He was beginning to drift off when, suddenly, he felt a wash of light over him and he saw a face in the light watching him. It had shaggy honey brown hair and kind amber eyes.
Sirius sat bolt upright when he realised who it was. Why was Remus featuring in his dreams? Pain shot through his battered body and he sucked in a breath and tried to lie down again. It was only a few more weeks until he could go back to Hogwarts. He could make it. He had to make it. Sighing, he finally fell asleep.

Remus lay tiredly in his bed, exhausted from the ordeal of his transformation the previous night. It wasn't time to rest yet, however. His mate, who of course had to be Sirius Black, seemed to have been in a lot of pain when he'd been gifted a glimpse of him. His werewolf instincts were screaming for him to go to Sirius immediately and take him somewhere safe.
Groaning, he sat up and got out of bed, trying to ignore his aching limbs the best he could and steadying himself unconsciously with his new fixed bones when he almost lost his balance standing up. It was time to talk to his parents.

Sirius was ripped from his sleep by the sound of Regulus strutting down the hall outside the room like the perfect pureblood he's parents wanted. His half-awake brain registered the time and he froze in terrified panic. He was supposed to have been at breakfast already. Scrambling out of bed, he winced as pain filled his body and fumbling to free himself from he's bed covers, rushed into the dining room.
He's father Orion loomed by the table, beady eyes glaring at him furiously. "You should have been in here twenty minutes ago, boy! We'll have to teach you a lesson. You need to learn how to be a good boy and not a disappointment. Come here!" he bellowed.
Trembling, Sirius bent over in front of Orion, who took a belt out and whipped him viciously about 20 times. The belt was the newest punishment from his father, only just introduced this summer because according to his parents magical curses and spells were to good for him. His back burned with extreme pain as new wounds were created on top of already existing injuries.
Seemingly satisfied, Orion put the belt away and sat down at the table where Regulus and Walburga were already waiting.
"Now, eat your breakfast!" His mother demanded in her nasal voice.

Remus swallowed nervously as he and his parents apparated in front of where Sirius was apparently living. It was a nondescript house that looked much the same as the ones on either side of it, apart from a very ominous vibe washing from it in thick waves. The only happy part of it seemed to be the well kept and beautiful garden. They were dressed in casual wizarding attire so they wouldn't stand out too much from the purebloods.
"Ready?" His father asked, a grim look on his face.
Remus couldn't muster the ability to form words verbally and so instead nodded, panic swirling around his stomach.
The trio walked up the driveway and knocked on the door. There came a shout from inside, something that sounded like, "Boy...answer...now...beat...you!"
Remus' eyes widened in horror. How could Sirius be forced to deal with these people let alone be related to them?!
After a moment and some shuffling inside the house, the front door swung open to reveal Sirius, who seemed to be holding onto the door-frame for support. The boy was practically swallowed up by the oversized and fancy clothes he was wearing, and far too thin from what he could see. Something that looked suspiciously like blood was dripping down his side.
