Redemption

"Ah! It's been a while!"

Four girls feel the illuminated rays that flowed upon them, gasp the cold air that clung into their sinuses right after the stairs of a subway station twirled them upward toward the center of Seoul's vibrant and bustling shopping district, Myeongdong.

It's been a while since Sana, Momo, and Jihyo traveled by train. However, that was the sleep demon's first time. She almost threw up during the whole ride but it's actually worthwhile seeing the night view of Myeongdong Street.

"Looks like one of us got blown away." They were about to go for a walk but Momo noticed Chaeyoung just standing stiff in front of the subway station's entrance, hand gripping the extension pole attached below the videocamera. Being a bit impatient, Sana on the other hand, just hissed, arms crossed. She doesn't want to waste any time.

"Hey Chaeyoung!" Chaeyoung snapped back after contemplating the vastness of this street then listens to Jihyo right away. "Remember, we're here to shoot a vlog so please focus." The latter seriously reminded her and soon, flashes a contagious wide smile.

"Yes, miss Park." Chaeyoung silently scolded herself for appreciating this man-made place while following the three girls behind.

They travelled this far just to buy a new laptop. Though Sana used this as an excuse way back Chaeyoung's second night attack, she wasn't lying that her current laptop isn't working properly, often freezing. They did reboot it, did other common ways to fix it but it still hangs. Sana can't work continuously with that problem so the best option was to buy a new laptop. Of course, they're gonna make a content out of this trip that's why they brought Chaeyoung with them; to make this night productive as well.

Momo, Sana, and Jihyo know how to maintain their vlog so fun by introducing some great shops around the street. At first, Chaeyoung was trying to keep up because all of them are too frisky, she doesn't know where to pan the camera. But as soon as she tries to have fun with them, she realized it wasn't that difficult.

"We forgot to tell y'all guys, a new member joined the team!" There was excitement in Momo's voice.

"Chaeyoung, hand me the pole." For Jihyo, she thinks that it would be rude if they won't introduce their new member to their future audience so she reached for the camera when Momo pulled Chaeyoung beside her and Sana.

"Momo?! Don't-" The latter was about to stop them but it was too late.

"Here's Chaeyoung! Our new camera operator. Say hi to the cam." Chaeyoung waves her hand awkwardly and instantly complied as she greets the camera. So this is the feeling when you're vlogging. You'll feel shy when other people look at you, it feels like they're judging you by the way you speak in the public so she has to be careful with the words she's about to spill. Damn, Momo, Sana, and Jihyo are so good at this.

Since Sana couldn't do something about it, she just scrutinizes the sleep demon's appearance. There is something different about the latter tonight.

"Ah yeah, track shorts." Sana mumbled when she found out that the girl was wearing shorts instead of her usual track pants. But why is she suddenly checking her out? Why the sudden interest of gazing even small details of Chaeyoung's features? The latter's dreamy eyes, an ocean that draws her gaze like a sunset over water? The deep happiness in the well of her dimple, a spark that could lead her to thrive for the first time?

Sana instantly shrugged the undescribable feeling off. No matter how nice-looking Chaeyoung is, it won't change the fact that she's a sleep demon, a trickster, a pervert.

And they finally bought a nice laptop after an hour of learning the specifications of each gadget shown to them. The tiredness on the three girl's faces were very visible but it's not comparable to Chaeyoung's. She was the most exhausted out of them. Imagine walking backwards just to film these girls? Her calves almost felt like cramping.
