After scooting out her victim's room, the sleep demon was found slowly prancing across the bridge of Noksapyeong. She stopped for a while, grins about her achievement before raising her head up high to watch the night sky. It seemed like the clouds had gotten a sudden fascination to the moon and wrapped themselves around it. The moon's faint glow passed through them, coloring them white from grey. Out of the blue, why is she appreciating these things in this universe? The galaxies, the stars, the planets, the earth, the humans, the nature, they're all ugly. She then gazes back at the black orb to study it.

"Is this what I'm here for? Really?" The demon asked herself. She recalls her first and second nights and only smiles before moving forward again.

She arrived at a mysterious building where she meets a friend, Dahyun, already waiting for her in front of the structure.

"Hey Chaeyoung! You look confident tonight huh." The latter noticed. Chaeyoung, the sleep demon, looks happy this time unlike the first night.

"Got this!" And the latter proudly flaunts the black orb she seized from her assigned victim. On the other hand, Dahyun chuckles about it. They continue the talk while getting inside the building.

"You're welcome." Frowning, Chaeyoung didn't get why her friend acknowledges herself. She should have congratulated the sleep demon or maybe celebrate her first achievement.

Confused, "What do you mean?" Chaeyoung halted right in front of Dahyun.

"The thunderclap." The latter sparingly answered with a grotesque grimace so as to reveal her teeth. So it was actually Dahyun who summoned the thunder, not Chaeyoung. Her plan to trick did work but she didn't expect it to be that successful, thanks to Dahyun. That's also why there was no thunderclap after her second snap. Chaeyoung maybe was too confident that time.

"You- I thought that was me. Jeez I'm gonna smack you for real, evil bird!" Chaeyoung once again mock her friend. The truth actually decreases her confidence.

"You really thought you can do it just like us?" Dahyun does her usual cackles but then cheered the demon after. "Hey! I just want you to advance. You said you want a promotion right?" Dahyun was right. She saw how hardworking demon Chaeyoung was. And the latter realized it. She doesn't have the power at all. She's just a sleep demon who's job is to scare sleeping humans at night.

Lowering her head, "Thanks..." And she earned a tap on shoulder from Dahyun.

"Give the orb to the Diablo. Earn your promotion!" And Dahyun gently pushes the sleep demon inside an office.

FEARS

Fear is an "unpleasant" emotion or anxious concern formed from humans' anticipation or awareness of danger/threat.

A company called Abyss, is one of the branches of Hell, where demons collect fears from mortals in order to acquire more power. This certain agency trains demons to be night hags, sleep demons, succubus and incubus. If promoted, they can wander around even at day time to cause more danger to humans such as car accidents, manipulating them to do atrocious things to others which violate the rules of the bible.

Fears are very significant. Instilling Fears to mortals is Satan's key to make them doubt the Father in heaven. He badly wants to win this never-ending war.

And Chaeyoung was one of its workers.
