Chapter 9

When we finally arrived to her place I was surprised the house was huge it looked almost like a castle.
"This lady must really like fairy tales." I thought.

"We're here!" Dolores sang.

"Come on, James will get your things let's check your new home out."

She grabbed my wrist and dragged me inside, this lady was pretty happy.

"This is the living room."

The living room was beautiful the couches has a a greyish colour with aqua blue pillows and a glass coffee table in the middle, there were large windows behind the chairs letting the suns Rays brighten up the room, white French doors that led to the patio which had a pool and a flat screen plastered on the white wall and and a fire place under it and a little doorway that lead somewhere.

"So what do you think of it?"

"It looks fancy I guess"

"If you think this is fancy wait till you see the kitchen."

She once again dragged me somewhere else and it was through that little doorway.

"This my darling is the kitchen where all your hunger needs will be fulfilled"

I looked around the kitchen it was amazing the island had a granite top and brown wood and two chairs on one side of it with lights hanging above it. The counter had a granite top also but with white wood, cabinets white, refrigerator and microwave plastered in the wall and polished along with the stove.This whole kitchen looks like it from some home decor show.

"Okay it's time for you to see your room"
And once again I was dragged out of the kitchen through another door.

"Okay so I don't know your favourite colour so I chose a colours that I like I mean we could change it afterwards"

"It's alright as long as it's not a bright shade of pink it's alright"

She giggled at my little statement and opened the bedroom door. I walked in and I was mesmerised by the beauty of the room, the walls were a dark shade of blue and the curtains to the window was black the king sized bed had white covers with blue pillows the light over shinning above the bed had a blue shade. The dresser and closet was a dark shade of blue and the computer table was also with an Mac sitting on it and next to it was a MacBook.

"So you like the room if you don't we'll go paint shopping"

"No no it's perfect I like the colour and everything"

"That's excellent I'm glad you like it and I can't wait for you to settle in and get to know you and everything."

"Me too"

There was a quick moment of silence between me and her but it was broken by James calling us.

"Here's your stuff!"

Me and Dolores walked back downstairs to meet up with James and my bags.

"Thank you for your help James" Dolores said hugging James.

"No problem" James leaned in for a kiss but Dolores put her hands on his chest and pushed him back.

"Ehehe okay James I think it's time for you to go I'd like to have some alone time with my niece"

James looked upset because he was reject but covered it up.

"Yes of course, goodbye Dolores and goodbye..."

"Allison" I replied seeing that he doesn't know my name

"Yes goodbye Allison." James turned on his heel and walked out closing the door behind him.

"Okay Allison let us go unpack your clothes and then we'll sit in front of the telly with a drink and playing a good game of 21questions so we could get to know each other better."

"Okay I'm down with that Dolores"

"Please call me aunt we are family"

"Ah okay aunty"

"Great let's go"

She grabbed both my suitcase and took them upstairs to my new room.

"Well this is going to be interesting" I mumbled as I picked up my duffle bag and followed her.
