The next morning woke up I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean off my makeup, bush my teeth and take a well need bath. After my morning routine I laid back in bed ready to take another nap, but that was short lived.

"ALLISON COME DOWN NOW I HAVE AMAZING NEWS!!!" Dolores yelled

I groaned and rolled out of bed and walked downstairs to find Dolores in the kitchen jumping and smiling and giggling like a little school girl.

"Yes?" I asked with less enthusiasm

"Look!" Dolores said literally sticking her hand in my face.

I looked at her hand and there sat a huge shining rock on her ring finger

"You bought your self a diamond ring?" I asked

"No! I'm engaged!!"

"Wait what?" I asked

"I. Am. Engaged" Dolores said slowly

"Dolores this isn't April we are in December."

"Allison I'm being serious, I'm engaged the wedding is in a month." Dolores said her face as serious as ever.

What does she mean she's engaged what happened to being promiscuous not showing emotions, make them think we love them, using them for the money and things we wanted, what in the hell happened?

"Allison are you alright you look pale" Dolores said

"How could you get married what happened to all you've taught me?"
I asked

"Allison I know but this guy he's just amazing he's perfect he's my one true love" Dolores explained

I laughed at her remark, love? When did she care, first off when did she meet this guy and how long have she been with him?

"But all those times James, Alex, those times when we go clubbing and you just go to the back to hang with the other men? What about that?!" I asked

"Like I told you before James and Alex meant nothing to me and those times I've been with him" she said but with a dreamy sigh at the end.

"And who is this "him." I asked

"His name is Jacob he's a engineer I mean he doesn't have the best of look and doesn't have the body of the men I've dated, but it's not about that he makes me happy and that's all that counts."

"So your engaged to a greasy taco?"

"Allison! He makes me happy I don't care about his body and looks"

"Or is that true?" I asked slamming my hands on the island and standing looking at her.

"THATS IT!" Dolores yelled causing me to sit back down.

"Allison I want you to meet Jacob but if you keep this attitude I'm doubting it." Dolores said calming down

"You know what forget it he's coming today and I don't need you around making him second guess this wedding so please do me a favour and stay in you room." Dolores said getting up and going upstairs.

That really stung she was my aunt she's been with me for these past months and now she's found someone she seems to really like and I shut her down. I must be a terrible niece right now, I sighed and got me a bottle of water.

"Looks like I have to play nice" I mumbled and went back to my room preparing myself to me the greasy ta- ah I mean Jacob.
