As soon as Rango walked out of the Jail house, he was met with angry townspeople.
"What is it!" Someone yelled.
"Now listen here, unfortunately they weren't doing this themselves." Rango said. "They were hired by a man named Scarface!"
"Who is that?" Buford said.
"I don't know, I haven't seen or heard of this man."
Rango looked around and was worried that he might let down the townsfolk that look up to him.
"Now, I am going to be going out of town to find this man." Rango said, getting on his Road Runner Horse. "And they told me that Rattlesnake Jake might know who he is."
As soon Rango said Jake's name, everyone gasped.
"Not Rattlesnake Jake!" Waffles yelled.
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." Rango showed a scared face, but quickly shook it off. To show that he was still brave. "But don't worry, If Jake won't tell me I will keep looking."
He moved his Road Runner Horse and started to move down the sandy road.
As his horse was galloping down the desert, he was thinking who it can be.
"Could've Bad Bill changed his name?" Rango thought. And he thought of much more other stuff.
It took him hours to finally get to Rattlesnake Jake's Burrow. And of course it was his, since he saw the Mayor's Turtle shell outside.
He gulped and was worried.
"Jake! Are you there!?" He yelled in the burrow.
Suddenly, he heard a familiar slithering body. Moving along on the sand.
"Well, well, well. Isn't the Sheriff that saved Dirt." Jake's voice echoed in the burrow.
"Hi Jake.." Rango's voice got high, due to him being scared.
"Now what do you want."
"Well Jake, I was hoping if you heard of a man named Scarface?" Rango asked.
Rattlesnake Jake slithered our quickly, causing Rango to pull out his revolver. Getting ready to shoot at Jake. But he didn't attack Rango at all, he looked at him face to face.
"Scarface?" Rattlesnake Jake whispered in his creepy voice. "I haven't heard of that name for a while now."
"Do you know him?" Rango asked Jake, with his hand still around his gun.
"I've known him, he used to Rob not only Dirt, but anyone he could find." Rattlesnake Jake said, looking out on the desert.
"Do you know where he could possibly be at?"
"Why? He used to rob way back before you even became sheriff at Dirt?" Rattlesnake Jake said, hissing.
"Because it seems that he is hiring others to do his dirty work." Rango squinted at him.
"You think I'm working with him!" Jake hissed and rattled his tail.
"I've never said that, but I was hoping if you seen him around or even heard of his name before me".
"Well so called sheriff, No." Jake said. "I haven't seen him for years now."
"Thanks Jake". Rango started to walk back to his Road Runner Horse.
"But I do know where he used to live." Jake said, making Rango stop walking.
"Where can I find him?" Rango asked.
"There's a place not too far from here, called 'No Man's End'." Jake said, as he slithered out more to show where it's at. "It should be down North, towards where the Desert Sand ends."
"Ok, Thanks for your cooperation." Rango said, as he got back on his Road Runner Horse and rode off.
As he looked back, Rattlesnake Jake tipped his head down, showing that he still has respect for Rango. Rango tipped his hat back to Jake.

Hours later, as he was still riding off. The sun was going down and it was becoming evening.
"I need to hurry." Rango said, as he made his road runner horse gallop faster.
Finally, he made it where it was called 'No Man's End'. Since there was a broken wooden sign that had the name of it.
He slowly made his horse gallop, looking at his surroundings. Just to make sure. While in the middle of No man's End, he heard whispering in a dark small house.
He immediately hopped off his road runner and pulled out his gun from the holster. Pulling back the hammer to let it get ready to shoot.
"Who's out there!" He yelled.
Suddenly a Old man walked out.
"Don't shoot!" He yelled. "I have a family, please don't shoot!"
"Tell me who you are." Rango said sternly.
"The names' Ernie." The terrified old man said.
He looked down and saw Rango had a badge.
"What are you sheriff at, if I may ask."
"At a town named Dirt." Rango answered his question.
The Old Man's face changed from being worried to surprised.
"Dirt? I know that little town."
"Yeah, everyone knows." Rango said, still having his gun out.
"Hold on a minute, are you the legendary Rango?" He asked, smiling.
"Legendary?" He asked, with a little bit of pride as soon as he heard that.
"Yeah Sheriff, stories has been spreading after you stopped Rattlesnake Jake and killed that hawk."
Rango put down his gun and smiled.
"Well indeed that's me."
"What can I help you out with Sheriff?" Ernie asked.
"I was hoping if you heard of a man named Scarface?"
Suddenly, the man's face changed back to fear.
"Did he rob the town?" He asked worriedly.
"No, but I guess he sent one of his goons or something to try to."
"Well, what I can tell you, is that he is still alive and is planning to rob dirt." He said, looking around.
"Oh man, I hope I didn't fall for one of his tricks." Rango said. Trying to think of a solution.
"And not only that sheriff, but since stories spread around quick, he wants to kill you as well." Ernie said.
Rango opened his eyes wide, knowing that this man could be anywhere and could actually kill him.
"Does he live here?" Rango asked fast.
Ernie pointed up and Rango saw a old house, still on top of a broken big wood floor. Making creaky noise.
"Wow, I'm surprised he didn't hear this whole conversation." Rango said sarcastically.
"I just hope he is still there and not on his way to Dirt."
Rango quickly ran up, since there was rocks around where he could climb and make it up there.
As soon as he made it to the door, he busted it down and pulled out his gun.
"Sheriff Rango here! Get out now!" He yelled, still trying to be brave but shaking while holding his gun.
While looking around, he noticed that this man hasn't been in his house for a few hours now. Since there was new food on the table and the fireplace. With the fire slowly dying.
"Gosh dang it!" Rango yelled.
He ran down back to his road runner and was about to gallop.
"Wait Sheriff!" Ernie yelled, causing Rango to stop his road runner horse.
"What is it sir!" Rango yelled.
"Please, get him and send him to jail or kill him." Ernie said.
Rango felt nauseous in his stomach since he hasn't killed anyone yet, besides shooting near bandits to scare them off.
"I-I will try sir". Rango said, smiling at Ernie.
Rango moved the Road Runner to run fast and was getting ready for his next showdown.
Hoping, that he will still be living as the legendary Sheriff.
