Chapter 15

Kay's POV**

"Grab your board lets go" Nash said breaking me my thoughts.
I grabbed my board and followed him. We went through the the green bushes and trees.
After about 5 minutes of walking through bushes, we got to a lake that had a huge sign that was covered with vines and leaves.
I walked towards it, faintly you could see "Serenity Trail" under all the vines.
"What happened to this place?" I asked Nash who was now pulling out a cigarette.
"Everybody forgot about it. Somebody died somewhere on this trail, and everybody forgot about it. I come here when I visit the cabin and I wanna be alone. You seem like the type of person that does the same thing so id thought I'd show you" he said lighting it.
It was absolutely breath taking. The way the benches had vines creeping up over them, and the arc with small little flowers on them.
" it's beautiful" I said still looking around.
"Wait to you see what's coming up" he said gesturing him to follow him. I did.
We went through a wall of bushes and there was a concrete path slithering down through the forest.
We both dropped out penny's and started riding down.
It was so peaceful here, no wonder they called it serenity trail. All you could here was the sound of the penny board wheels gliding along the concrete.
Suddenly, the tree amount started minimizing, and then they were all gone. It was replaced by a scene of the city below the mountain. Now this was breath taking.
"This is-"
"Breath taking? Yeah I know" Nash said interrupting me.
" I used to come here with my brother" he said sitting on the edge.
"What happened?" I asked sitting beside him.
"Nothing" he said starring straight forward.
"Oh" I said. I knew something had happened. Just the way his voice changed from hard, to soft, to hard in a matter of seconds.
We sat there in the comfortable silence until my phone vibrated.

Matty-Boo- where's you at Kay Kay? I miss you :( we have to catch up!!

"Who was it?" Nash asked leaning over my shoulder.
"Matt, he wanted to know where I was he wants to hang out.
"Don't tell him were here. This is my spot and it can be yours too, but I don't want them knowing about it. This is the only place where I feel like I can be myself. "
I can here the begging in his voice.
"I wouldn't do it in a million years" I said smiling softly at him.

Kay-Kay- I took a walk around the lake sowy Matty boo! I jus wanted to think. I'll be home in a few and we can chill :)

Matty-Boo- okayyyyyy be back soon bestie!:D

I smiled goofily at his text.
"We should probably be getting back" I said standing up.
"Not until I do this" Nash said standing up.
Suddenly a pair of soft lips connected to mine. The felt soft, and in that moment I promise you there were fireworks everywhere.
He backed up, as I stood there breathlessly.
"Woah" I said.

Nash's POV**
I had to kiss her again. When I kissed her last night I thought I felt something but I needed to make sure. And I felt it. And it felt amazing. Like nothing I've felt before.
