Jayhden expected it to be awkward between them after what happened but everything got better, Algee is way more clingy now and he loves it.

"Did you order something?" His sister asked him not bothering to knock since he didn't have a door.

"No." Jayhden shook his head looking up from his book, "well this has your name on it." She put it on his desk before shrugging and walking away.

Jayhden took his scissors to open the package, inside were two puzzles and a toy which he gasped at.

He didn't expect that. He knew who it was from though. Algee. He smiled to himself before taking out a letter.

Call me when you wanna use this
Daddy

For some reason he was only surprised by how neat the olders handwriting looked.

He put the box in his bathroom before sitting back down to continue reading his book.

Algee had been in such a good mood since three days ago. He's now laughing with Eric like nothing ever happened.

"Nigga you know you wouldn't win in real life." Algee said while laughing making Eric laugh too as the other three looked at them like they both had two heads.

"We gone see. When you tryna go to the court?" Eric asked him, "shit. Ion know but we needa go soon." Algee spoke.

"What the fuck." Elijah mumbled.

This is so new. Of course they weren't complaining but it's just weird to them.

At home Jayhden decided to put his book down, take a puzzle and go downstairs.

"What do you have there?" His mom asked him while sorting her clients folders. She's a lawyer. A good one at that.

"Wanna puzzle with your favourite son?" He smiled at her, "sure." She put her folders together and cleaned up a bit.

Jayhden opened the box and put it on the table mixing the pieces.

"How have you been?" His mom asked him while trying to work on a corner. "Actually very good." He smiled just at the thought of the older.

She smiled too. "Your dad told me everything that happened.. I'm glad you're doing better now."

"Yeah.." Jayhden didn't like talking about it at all. "You know you can tell me anything. I won't take your door off or anything like that." She told him making him chuckle.

"Well.. I like someone.." he slowly said making her eyes sparkle, her son had never really talked about liking anyone so this was new.

"Tell me more." She stopped puzzling watching him puzzle with a smile on his face.

"Dad hates him and you probably do too but I really like him." Jayhden shrugged, "is it who I think it is?" She asked him.

His family wasn't really too serious when it came to this. They didn't see why you'd have to come out since straight people don't do that either.

To them it shouldn't be that big of a deal and that's how they raise their kids but they make sure to tell them what people go through in this world when being a minority.

"Yes." Jayhden sighed putting his hands down, "I don't hate him. I don't know what really happened between you too so I have to trust that you just don't involve yourself with that stuff okay?"

Jayhden nodded.

They continued puzzling. "Mom.. what is dads job?" Her eyes widened. "Why do you ask?" She looked at him.

"Just curiosity." Jayhden shrugged still puzzling, "well.. he's working from home right now." She said.

"But what is he doing?" He asked her, "uhm.. he helps manage deliveries all over the world." She said.

"Oh ok." Jayhden nodded.

Algee drove by the youngers neighbourhood later seeing him laugh together with his mom and his sister downstairs.

He smiled to himself before driving home.
