~3rd person POV~

Laxus didn't understand why Natsumi made him act so...different. She sat there on his lap, not daring to move and cause something. Laxus suddenly cupped his hand around her cheek and she looked at him in confusion.

"U-um..."

She tried to speak through her blush but failed and looked down at her hands. His resistance immediately died and he couldn't hold back anymore.

Laxus placed his hand under her chin, lifting her gaze to meet his. Her eyes were soft, her lips slightly parted. Natsumi was surprised when he started to lean in and without thinking, she leaned in also. When their lips nearly touched, a sudden crash came from behind them.

Tsuki tumbled in through the door, causing the pair to quickly pull away. The wolf stood up stiffly and slowly made his way out of the room. When he left, the two returned their gazes to each other. Natsumi stood up, trying to shake off the awkwardness that entered the room. She held out her hand with a smile, Laxus taking it and pulling himself up.

~Time Skip~

"Wait, seriously?!"

It was about midday by now and Natsumi was walking through Magnolia with Erza, Wendy, and Juvia. She told them about the incidents earlier in the morning and they all couldn't believe it.

"That isn't like Laxus you know," Erza stated while in thought.

"Yea, it's like he's a completely different person," Wendy added on.

"Is he really that different from usual," Natsumi questioned.

All of them immediately nodded their heads, proving to her that it really was weird.

Why is he acting different around me then?

"Well since you're staying with Laxus," Erza started with a suggestive eyebrow movement.

"Let's get you...ready," Juvia giggled.

"Wait, what?"

The three girls laughed at Natsumi's reaction, leaving her utterly confused.

What did I get myself into?

(A/N- sorry for the short chapter I'm trying to do something but I don't want to have like four different time skips in one part.)
