"I don't know, but I'm not gonna stop until I figure it out."

"I've never been beaten on the waves before, especially not by a girl. Except maybe Sunny..." Tanner trails off

"I think girls can do anything guys can do."

"If I were to think something right now... I think people aren't always what I think."

"Does that go for bikers too?"

"The truth is, bikers aren't all that bad. They want the same things we want, we just want them better."

"So why all the conflict?"

"I don't know, it's sorta what everyone expects." Tanner shrugs

"Like it's the way it's alway been, I guess. It's like your hearts telling you one thing but you have to do something else."

"You're a pretty smart guy."

"Yeah, but more pretty." Tanner smiles

"I know this electronic stuff can be really complicated." Lela says, helping Mack to use the record player.

Sunny is laying on the bed, hanging halfway off playing with her braided pigtails. Violet is sitting on the floor.

"Sit." Lela says, pointing to a chair in front of her vanity.

"Really, Lela, it's fine."

"We're just gonna try it". Lela says, playing with Mack's hair.

"You two okay? You look sad." Sunny says

"Yeah..." Mack sighs

"Just homesick." Violet shrugs

"Oh no! Is it the decor?" Lela asks

"No! I'm not sick of your home, I just miss mine..." Violet smiles

"How are things with you and Brady?" Mack asks

"Good, I guess."

"What about you and Tanner?" Sunny asks Mack

"Good, i guess."

"What about you and your guy?" Violet smiles, not saying his name in case Lela doesn't know.

"Really really good." Sunny smiles

Violet quietly asks Sunny if Lela and Tanner know yet or not and Sunny frantically shakes her head no.

"You know sometimes, i think boys don't tell us what they're thinking because it involves more thinking." Lela says

"But they make up for it by being cute." Sunny chimes in

"And boys!" Lela adds

"That's a really pretty necklace!" Mack says to Lela

"I have the bracelet." Sunny smiles, holding up her wrist.

"It's Hawaiian!" Lela chimes

"Means friendship forever."

"Like the 4 of us now!"

"You're not at all what I thought you'd be." Mack says to Lela

"I'm not as much like me as people think. You know, it's funny, I fell like i could tell you guys anything." Lela says

"Yeah I know, it does feel like that, doesn't it." Sunny adds

"I have a secret I've never told anyone!" Lela announces
