Chapter 9

"What's happening what are you talking about!"

I tried to get up from the bed but William held me down for a moment. "They are probably already fighting, and if Tammy wins like she normally does I need to get you out of here."

I felt my heart racing faster than ever as William laid over the top of me holding me down on the bed.

"Clara you're here!"

I squinted my eyes at William. "Wait a second."

William jumped up from the bed and walked to the bedroom door. I heard Tammy was screeching for Clara not some dumbass duel to the death.

William ran down the stairs, I followed behind him to see Clara trying to come into the house but Tammy was blocking her way.

"Tammy God dammit move you stupid whore."

I looked over at William.

Damn. Did he really just say that to his sister?

Tammy looked over at William and then proceeded to move out of the way.

Clara walked through the doorway with a smile on her face. The two kids followed behind her. Tammy got down on her knees as Elizabeth rushed to her. "Michael come here Hunny auntie missed you!"

Michael walked through the door and had his sight set on me. "Y/N!" He ran right past Tammy straight into my arms. Tammy looked at me with disgust.

Elizabeth then left Tammy's arms and ran to me as well. Gripping onto the side of my thigh, she didn't say anything she just hugged me.

Frank stayed on the couch watching the tv. He couldn't be bothered by this moment. God only knows when he saw the kids last.

William sighed as Clara walked towards him. "Good to see you again William."

Clara winked at him and I felt disgusted. I knew the fucker was lying to me about something.

William's face became red as he walked to pull the roast out of the oven. He set it on top of the stove and stood in front of it for a moment.

I pulled Elizabeth from my leg and walked her to the table, pulling a chair out for her I picked her up and placed her down on it. Frank got up from the couch and walked to the end of the table and sat down.

He didn't say much he just stared at the plate that sat in front of him. Tammy approached me from behind and grabbed my wrist. "Follow me."

I felt my spine tingle as she led me to the staircase, I followed her upstairs into William's room where she slammed the door behind me.

I jumped as she walked directly in front of me. "What's the deal with the two, I saw that look Clara gave him."

I gulped, "I don't know Tammy. William still hasn't told me anything from the time he was absent. I could only assume they were back together."

Tammy squinted her eyes as she looked away from me for a moment. She had me pinned up against the door unable to move.

She looked back at me and held my chin. "You're not too bad Y/N I'll figure it out for you.."

What is with this family and switching up so much?

Tammy moved away from me and pulled me off the door. She walked out of the bedroom and sat down at the table.

I stood there for a moment to catch my breath before I heard more footsteps approaching the bedroom.
