Zane and Mick followed down the dirt road until they finally saw the wreckage of the police cars. There was a little but of fire with smoke going up in the air. Whatever did this demolished them without a care. The two looked at each other. "You know on second thought, we should get off this mountain." Mick said. "I mean I agree but I don't agree." Zane shrugged before Mick hit him in the back of his leg with the cane. "Ow. That hurt you know." He complained as he reached down and rub the spot before raising back up.

"Besides I just wanna see the Alien and that's it. Then we can get outta here." Zane said making Mick roll his eyes. "Fine, we can both see them. They're probably still around here somewhere so while we do, you can get the keys from the guys pocket." Mick said making him groan. "Why can't you do it?" He questioned, Mick looked at him with a 'Really' face and looked down to his legs. Zane did too before nodding. "Right. Oops." "Just go get the keys." Mick said rolling his eyes with a little smile on his face. Zane turned and back away with his hands up in surrender before turning around and crouched down a little as he lightly walk forward, just in case there was something out there. He needed to stay hidden. Mick went and hid behind a log on the ground, watching as he kept an eye out.

Once Zane reached to the dead man on the floor, he stooped down and grabbed the keys before standing back up but then when he looked forward, he saw lights coming this way. "Shit." He whispered before turning around and jogged until he was completely behind something. He tried to stay calm since his heart were beating fast. He heard one walking his way which made him move away slightly. The Alien stopped and looked in Zane's direction but didn't see him. It stared at the spot with a hard gaze before getting distracted by the horse. The Alien then walked away making Zane look to it's back. Mick motioned his hand as a way of saying it was clear making Zane run to him when he didn't see the Alien anymore and got beside him. "See an Alien check." He whispered as he and Mick highfived silently

The two then head back up the mountain to the car. Zane turn on the engine from the passenger side before grabbing the walkie while Mick grabbed a gun from the back. "This is an emergency call. Can anyone hear me? Radio check. Can anyone hear me? Over." He said but there wasn't a reply. "Hey, wait up! Don't leave! Don't leave!" The sudden shout made the two men look to see another guy running out from the bushes hysterically. "Stop right there!" Mick said while pointing the gun at him. This made the man came to a halt with his hand up in a stop motion. "Who the hell are you?" Zane asked as he came out from the passenger side. "I'm Cal Zapata. We sent out a beacon." The man said while raising his ID to show him but then he looked over at Mick to see his legs. "Oh, shit, is he a cyborg!? Are you guys with them?" He shout as he went to run but fell behind a bush. This made Zane and Mick look at each other trying not to laugh.

Cal peaked out from behind the bush and look at Mick. "If he's human, could you have him put the gun down?" He said. "Loose the gun would you? The guy probably shit his pants or something." Zane said making Mick lower the gun. "I told them that something like this could happen. I said, it's going to be like Columbus and the Indians, or the Conquistadors and the Incans. They just thought, No, they will be sweet. They killed my grad student." The two watched as Cal rambled on while getting up until he finally stopped and walked towards them breathing heavily. "Okay, you need to calm down, alright man literally." Zane said. "I can't." Cal sat down on the ground while breathing in and out. "Will you calm down. Your panic attack can happen later but right now, we don't know jack shit about what's happening here." Zane said which made Cal force himself to calm down before getting back up. "We need the Marines. We need the Army. We need all of them." Cal spoke with high urgency.

Meanwhile in the Pentagon, "It is the strong belief of the Chinese that what crashed into Hong Kong was some sort of communications ship." Dr. Nogrady informed. "So you're saying that a flying telephone cratered and took out 25,000 people?" The Secretary of defense said with disbelief. "What I'm saying is that our visitors seem extraordinarily concerned with establishing a line of communication home." "If they lost their communication ship, how could they do that?" "The same way we did. Our communications station in Hawaii has the ability to send a message to deep space via the Landsat 7 satellite. I believe it's for that asset they have domed the islands." The shock on the Secretary's face was clear. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "We're looking at an extinction-level event."
