"Sir, I can't explain this. We've lost communications with everyone on the other side of the barrier. We can't get in and they can't get out." Admiral Shane said on the phone. "The field, whatever it is, extends about 300,000 feet in altitude and has a depth of about two nautical miles." "We are in contact with Admiral Shane of Pacific Fleet. Right now, our navy is effectively trapped outside the area." "So we have nobody In there?" The Secretary of Defense asked. "Well Sir, we have three guided missile destroyers still unaccounted for. So it's conceivable we do have somebody inside." "Well who?"~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Everyone on the John Paul Jones were trying to help Nagata sailors as some of them were hit badly. Alex was watching around looking at everyone who was injured trying to see if his brother was there alive but there wasn't. The damage that had been done was unbelievable. The three alien ships were still in the water. The John Paul Jones then started to leave the Myoko that had now sinked into the water.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Zane and Mick were now walking on a dirt road path. Mick was falling behind miserably while Zane was infront. "Are you tired yet?" He looked back with a grin. "This isn't fair." Mick complained making Zane laugh and stop walking. "Alright I'll wait for you." He said but while he did, a sudden aircraft zoomed pass them making them look. "What the hell was that?" Zane asked. "I'm not sure." Mick responded.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
A sudden interference on the monitors caught Cal's attention as he looked around. The station they were in shook violently while Danny look up at the roof. The noise of something landing a couple meters away from them. A door opened on the aircraft and many creatures that had on some sort of heavy metal suits with helmets on that bounced the sun off of it. Their structure were like a man's one. The first one that came out looked at the three big satellites that were spaced out on the mountains, it scanned it green then completely turned red.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Zane and Mick were still standing and looking on until they heard three police jeeps coming down the path they were on. One of them came out of the passenger side and walked up to them. "What the hell are you guys doing up here? I need you off this mountain, right now." "Yes we see that." Zane said. "What's going on?" Mick asked confused as to why they were to leave the mountains in a rush. "The island's under attack." The man revealed."Attack by who?" Zane asked trying to get more information. "I don't know. People are using the word Aliens." "Aliens?" "We don't know. Whatever it is, it took out the marine base and all roads leading to this mountain have been destroyed. Cell phones, radios, internet, everything is shut down. The Navy's engaged, just off of the coast." This sudden sentence made Zane look at the sea. "The Navy?" He questioned. "I need you and your friend off of this mountain right now." The man said before walking back to the jeep. "Come on. Vic, leave your car here. We'll go block the road." Zane and Mick went to side and looked on as the men got into the two jeeps and left with the third blocking the road.
The two men looked at each other before taking off walking back where the jeeps took off. "Now this is something I have to see." Zane said. "You and me both. I ain't never seen an alien." Mick confirmed for the both of them. This was a one in a life time kind of thing and Zane would be damned if he didn't witness it.
The two jeeps drove quickly on the dirt road before witnessing something moving zoomed right infront of them. "Bra, you saw that? What the hell was that?" The man freaked before talking to the man radio. "Hey, Vince, did you see that?" "It looked like a jet." "Bra, I've never-" Before he could finish his sentence, something suddenly hit the jeep making the second slam on its brakes but as he did, the creatures slammed onto the glass window breaking it into pieces. "Oh, my god! What the hell!?"
