"Such a perfect match." Abuela said to Isabela.

She nodded. "So perfect."

"And so good for the encanto." The two walked away as Mirabel snuck up to Bruno's door.

The door no longer glowed like the others, instead it just looked like an old cracked wooden door. Mirabel slowly opened the door, having to push it as some sand blocked the doorway.

She was met with met with a dark room with the one wall infront of her shaped like an hourglass with sand pouring nonstop.

"Casita, can you turn off the...sand?" She turned to look as Casita's tiles moved from outside the door.
"You can't help in here?"

The tiles moved slowly, then started moving repeatedly. "I'll be fine. I need to do this. For you, for Abuela, maybe a little for me." She took a deep breath. "Find the vision. Save the..." she started walking through the sand, only to fall straight downwards as she yelled.

She slid down and groaned before standing up and wiping the sand from her eyes and glasses.

She looked up to see a huge amount of stairs. "Wow." She whispered before hearing a toucan land beside her.
"Oh, hello."

The toucan chirped back. "Lot of stairs," She said, the bird making a noise in agreement. "But at least I'll have a friend." The toucan took off flying upwards. "No. She flew away immediately." She groaned. "All right."

She started jogging up the stairs singing. "Welcome to the family Madrigal"

"There's so much stairs in the casa Madrigal."

"You think there would be another way to gets so high 'cause we are magic, but no."

"Magical, how many stairs fit in here! Bruno, your room is the worst!"

When she finally got to the top, she was practically crawling. That's when she saw the big gap between the stairs and the entrance to the actual tomb.
She groaned frustratedly. "Come on."

She used the safety rope from the stairs and swung it over a rock, tugging on it to make sure it was secure.

"Okay, I can do this." She glanced down at the drop. Not seeing the ground sent a shiver down her spine.
"Oh." She took a deep breath before swinging over, managing to get to the other side.

She yelled in happiness before stamping her foot, accidentally sending a piece of the cliff to fall to the bottom. It took a few seconds before it hit rock bottom, making Mirabel cringe.

As she walked through the entrance to the tomb, the bird shifted back into Y/n. Mirabel jumped when she saw her but breathed a sigh of relief.

"Seriously, you watched me go through all those stairs while you could've turned into a giant bird and flew up both up there?" Mirabel said, unamused.

"I would if I could." Y/n replied, gasping as rats suddenly jumped out of a pot, scattering up to a wall sculpture of Bruno's face.

"What do you mean?" Mirabel asked, as the two continued on.

"I mean...I mean I can't. My Gift is fading." She told her, making Mirabel stop and look at her.

They didn't say anything until Y/n started walking again. "Come on, if Bruno's vision has the answers, we have to find it. And fast." She told her.

Mirabel nodded before walking alongside her. As the two entered a bigger room the two glanced around before Mirabel whispered.

"Empty." Suddenly a breeze blew through the tomb, causing the door thsy had just walked through to closed and lock them in.
