Type 1 Love (Starker)

Chapter 10

PETER POV: 

"My mom use to be a chef at the restaurant Guts and Liver. You know the place that was shut down for food poisoning and toxic and dangerous work environment" I said. 

"Ya, Pepper never forgave me for taking her there" said Tony. 

I feel jealous and sorry at the same time. Jealous because they went on a date but sorry that it was at a shit place. 

"Anyway my mom got her arm set on fire one day. She survived and luckily we were able to sue the company. It was the boss' fault for not listening when everyone complained about needing a new kitchen. Sadly my mom had to get her arm amputated. When I was born my mom stayed at home with me while my dad was at work. So most of the income came from my father. He worked at this super cool company. The boss however was again not great. He fucked around with a lot of girls and was rude to everyone. My father had his own lab and I remember how big it seemed as a child. One day my dad was fired after his boss stole one of his creations and gave it a stupid name. My parents were worried they were going to be homeless or have to start selling everything. They didn't want me to go threw all that and they did have adoption on the table. Luckily my dad's sister May stepped in and her and my uncle Ben raised me" I said. 

"Oh" said Tony. 

Sometimes I think it would just be easier to explain that my parents are dead or I'm adopted. But I'm not complaining. I know how lucky I am to still have both my parents alive and together. Especially with what all happened. 

"My parents both got a job now. My father works at Hammer Industries. He says it's not as great as his old job but he does the same as he use to and the boss is better to work with. A idiot who was sued by all the people at the Stark expo. My parents never forgave Hammer for almost killing me" I said. 

"WHAT" Tony yelled. 

I jumped a little. 

"You almost died. You were also at the expo" asked Tony surprised. 

"Ya, remember I was the kid you saved. The kid with the iron man helmet that stood up to the army bot" I said. 

Tony was shocked by this. 

"That was you? I thought that was just some random kid" said Tony. 

"It was me" I said. 

"Oh, well that is surprising. Any back to your parents" said Tony. 

"Ya, my mom works at a new restaurant. She only works part time and has to do things a little differently with the one arm but she really loves cooking and is very happy that she can still be a chef" I said. 

We made it back to the tower and put my stuff in Tony's room. I looked at the corner wall by the bed table. There is something there. 

"You okay" asked Tony. 

"Ya, I think there is something hiding there" I said. 

Tony looked. He grabbed his shoe and threw it at the wall. It hit the wall and fell on the floor. It's still there. Tony could tell I was a little scared. 

"Come on, how about we watch some Star Wars in the living room. I heard how there is now a series with a baby yodo" said Tony. 

I followed him to the living room. 

"It's baby yoda. And that show has been out for a while now" I said. 

We went to the living room with the invisible thing following us. 

SO, who do you think Peter's parents are? Also at the end of the chapter with the invisible thing, yes, mysterio is here. He is watching. So all you people who thought the invisible thing is mysterio you were correct. Although you already know that.
