The entire planet is against me. I swear. Atlas and I went back to our dorm after it began raining outside.

Now it's Tuesday morning, I woke up late, didn't have anything to eat, forgot about homework, and I'm getting called to the headmasters office.

I'm killing many people today and Likton is one of them.

"So, as you know, there was a scuffle between you and Cammie. We have a zero violence policy here so there must be consequences," Likton said while I sat bored in the chair. "You'll have detention for a week and kitchen duty for 3 days,"

My jaw dropped. Kitchen duty? Bo and Raygan have talked about it. Saying how nasty it is and that if I ever get it to hurl myself off a building.

"She punched me first!" I backfired, I was not about to get kitchen duty for something I didn't start.

"And we handled her. Cammie's parents give a lot of money to the school, we must keep her here,"

My jaw fell open again, what the actual fuck? "I actually cannot believe you said that. Im calling my father right now and telling him that I'm being harassed. Expect a call from an attorney tomorrow." I smirked at him. There was no way in hell I was doing kitchen duty and Cammie gets off with a detention.

"Now, Elliot, there's no need for that. We can solve this ourselves," Likton smiled at me.

"Get rid of the kitchen duty." I say sternly.

"You still have detention for week," he clarified.

I nodded, standing up and making my way back to Journalism.

Once inside, Atlas gave me a look saying 'Tell me everything'. I chuckled to myself.

I sat down, focusing on the lesson for once.

Once it was over Atlas began bombarding me with questions.

"Woah, woah! I got detention for a week, chill. I was supposed to have kitchen duty but after finding out Cammie barely got punished because her parents, I pulled the dad card," i explained to the crazy boy.

"So you only have detention? That's good. I've had it before, you literally just sit there," he explains to me on our walk to our dorm.

I nodded, debating on killing myself. I'm totally kidding right now, I could never leave Elena alone with my crazy ass friends.

We are officially leaving for Washington. It's November 11th. Elena, Raygan, Bo, Atlas, and I are currently driving to the airport. We decided bringing my car would be easier than renting an Uber so that we would have something here when we get back.

"I actually cannot wait. Your dad is the hottest DILF to ever exist so if I faint when he looks at me, do not be concerned." Bo has been nonstop fawning over my father, I've had so many girlfriends do that in the past, but Bo just makes it seem less awkward. He knows he doesn't have a chance unlike the girls in my grade.

Atlas sighs while staring out the window, "What's up?" I question him.

"I guess I'm just nervous. Meeting your dad, his fancy friends, seeing the ways that you're so much better than me,"

I lace our fingers together, giving him a reassuring squeeze, "I'm in no way better than you. You've earned your spot in life and I could not be more proud to call you my friend."

Atlas then lifts up our laced hands and presses a tentative kiss on my knuckles, the action makes me shiver, but I conceal it the best I can. I obviously didn't do very well, getting a smirk from Atlas.
