This was all originally only published on Fanfiction, but I decided the move it over to wattpad as well. I'm just going to copy and paste over, hopefully it doesn't jumble the words or something

This will be my first attempt at a story, I've taken a lot of inspiration from similar stories on wattpad and fanfictionnet. A lot of those stories, while good, took a lot of turns for the worse, in my very unprofessional opinion. Please feel free to critique me and leave suggestions.

Still feeling the side effects of the slap across the map, the seven touched down and stared into the chaos. Percy, Annabeth, and Piper ran to the greeks while Jason, Frank, and Hazel ran to the romans. Cheers erupted from both sides through the ensuing fighting, rejuvenating both sides to turn the tide against the advancing army of monsters.
With all the excitement no one had time to question where Gaea was or if Leo had made it off the ship. Frank joined Reyna, yelling orders to the romans, keeping a tight formation and pushing back the opposition. Percy and Annabeth reunited the with the greeks. They took the lead and ran to the front of the lines screaming like banshees. For the first time the greek and roman campers were working together. It seemed they had put Gaea's army on their back foot when the ground started to shake, knocking monsters and campers alike off their feet.
AWAKE, a voice thundered in their ear drums.
On the hill dirt was swirling into the form of a woman. Standing upright, eyes closed Gaea spoke, "Thank you Percy. Without your blood this would've been impossible. I'll let you live under my boot to wallow in your shame after everything and everyone you have ever loved has gone."
In response the monsters and campers stared in shock, most still tangled on the ground. To many's surprise Annabeth was one of the first up and charging directly at Gaea.
"WAIT! ANNABETH WAIT!," Percy screamed. Having been told by Leo of his plan he promised to keep everyone from Gaea till he could arrive.
Annabeth, driven by the rage and fear of the threat to her boyfriend, Percy, she kept running at Gaea, who's eyes were still closed. Annabeth realized too little, too late what was happening when she tried to get in reach with her sword.
Gaea's eyes snapped open and a grin plastered on her face, a sword of dirt already formed in her right hand. Faster than Annabeth could blink she was falling to her knees, sword through her chest. Her hand pressed against the worn battlefield with her sword in between.
Percy couldn't believe what was happening, and he didn't. Having already been after Annabeth he wasn't too far behind. Annabeth was still on the end of the sword, cracks appearing across her body, slowly dissolving her, spreading out from the tip of the sword protruding from her back. His ears roared and his vision narrowed, he let out a deafening scream, blasting every drop of underground water from hundreds of geysers and shaking the world, knocking the monsters and rest of the campers back off their off.
Gaea raised her eyes to meet an oncoming Percy. Smirking, she lifted her blade, with a seemingly lifeless Annabeth still hanging. Just as her attacker was almost in range she flicked the blade to the side, flinging Annabeth off and down the other side of the hill.
Percy's gaze snapped to where Annabeth had been thrown just in time to see her land and hear her exhale when she smacked the ground. She's alive! Thank the gods.
"Hmphh...," Percy looked down to see the same blade piercing his own abdomen. He gripped the blade with his free hand while trying to cut at Gaea, only to find he might as well attack Mt. Rushmore as she was made of solid rock and he had lost too much energy to muster enough strength to break through.
In a voice unlike her previous words, this one did not boom throughout, seeming to come from the earth itself. This came from the mouth of the rock lady herself. "Don't worry young hero, me and you still have to have some alone time before I let you die," she whispered in his ear, accompanied by a smile somewhat grandmotherly and somewhat Hitleresque.
The campers just stared dumbstruck as Gaea has struck down Olympus's two favorite heroes and their friends, not even a minute apart. A strange silence had overtaken the battlefield.
WHOOOOMPHH, Percy was sent flying to where Annabeth still lay motionless and Gaea gone. Jason grabbed Piper, while Frank grabbed Hazel in his eagle form. They flew up to assist Leo and take their revenge for their lost friends.
After the initial shock the monsters and campers immediately started their fighting once again. Fueled by anger the campers pushed the monsters further and further trying to break through their lines to get to their two fallen friends and leaders.
Percy's eyes shot open and tried to sit up but nearly passed out from the pain in his stomach. His wound was caked with dirt that seemed to stop his bleeding. He looked over to see Annabeth staring at him with a sad smile a trickle of blood running down the side of her mouth. He started crawling through the pain, screaming. He had to get to Annabeth, there was no other choice. He finally made it to her side where he tried to pull himself up to check on her when she placed her hand on his chest and laughed, though a little gargled. "Calm down, Seaweed Brain. Look at me. Im done for, just lay with me," while grabbing his shirt to pull herself towards him and laying her head on his chest.
They lay there, both with tears in their eyes, staring at the loves of their lives'. "Wow that was stupid," Annabeth got out with another painful laugh.
"Yeah...the bitch got us both," he replied. They kept laying there listening to the sounds of battle. "Annabeth, I love you, I'm not ready for you to go. We have plans, this isn't the way this was supposed to happen."
"Percy...I'm sorry. You're the love of my life and I'm sorry I won't be there with you, but please promise me that you won't blame yourself for this...for any of this. None of it's your fault. When I'm gone promise me you'll try to find happiness..you..you d-d-deserve.. i-it."
Annabeth's lifeless eyes stared back at Percy's, seeming to look straight through him. He reached down and closed her eyes. Sobbing uncontrollably, while Annabeth started slowly crumbling to dirt in his arms, Percy realized there would be no body for a shroud, his friends probably expected the same to happen to him. He kissed Annabeth on the forehead one last time. He used all of the pent up rage and utter sadness to stand with Annabeth in his arms. He slowly set her down and took her yankees cap from her jeans and picked up her fallen drakon bone sword and hobbled into the forest amidst the sounds of war as an explosion rocked the sky.
