Chapter 17

Hello everyone, I said I was done writing on this story, but I've changed my mind...again. I do apologize for that, but I can't promise how often the updates will be out, but they will be out.

Also from now on I will only be posting on Wattpad.

I went back through and edited a few chapters, nothing too major, although I would recommend rereading chapters fifteen and sixteen, those are probably the most major of changes.

Of course let me know what you think about the story/chapter!

Artemis's Palace

Percy

I woke up feeling stiff, with a pounding headache, to find her wrapped lovingly around me, a smile spread across my face despite the pain. I don't think I could get tired of this, I thought to myself. I softly rubbed her bare back, "Arty, babe...," I winced.

She rolled her head up and set her chin on my chest, looking annoyed, "Shut up for like five minutes," she gave a slight smile as her eyes closed back shut, "Please."

I obliged, being the upstanding boyfriend that I am. After waiting the mandatory five minutes I gave a small cough, "Where do you keep the ambrosia....," I asked in a small voice.

"Ohhh, I'm sorry," she answered rolling over and standing up, "I should have figured you'd need some."

I laughed, "It's no problem," I watched her stand, hands on her hips in her bra and panties at the the edge of the bed, "You look amazing," I concluded before jumping out of bed and picking my clothes up off the ground.

After Artemis was fully dressed she turned to me, a scared look in her eyes, "Percy, we need to talk..."

I felt the worried look spread across my face and I must've looked close to the edge of tears, because she rushed forward and pulled me down to sit on the bed next to her.

"Just let me talk.... or explain..." she trailed off waiting a second, "I-I know that I can be somewhat.... impulsive," she looked to be struggling for the right words, "maybe a bit controlling and assuming....emotional?"

"Violent is a good one," I joked lightheartedly.

She punched me lightly in the shoulder, "I'm being serious Perseus, I'm sorry for all of that, for what happened on Delos and everything else I've done. I'm just so scared and I'm so sorry, I wish I could take it back," checking to see that I was following she continued, "I feel good about us, but this scares me. You are a god now, and I've broken my vow of chastity, there's so much to look forward to, but..."

"But what?" I asked concerned.

"I'm just scared....and excited....."

"Well we can take everything as slow as you need Arty," I replied leaning across and kissing her cheek, "I know you're scared and I'm scared too, but we will work. Relationships have their rough patches."

She looked up at the ceiling with a smile and wiped at her eyes, letting out a good laugh, "I don't want anything slow right now. I just need to know you're mine forever."
