I sit in a comfy chair as everyone sits down. They're all getting x-rayed in case they swallowed the ring. I hope it's not me. I hate surgery.
The TV in the corner of the room is set on Nickelodeon. The Fairly Odd Parents are on and this is one with Dr. Rip Studwell. I hope my doctor isn't like this ; abandoning his patients for a game of golf.
My stomach churns as if I were nervous but I know it's my stomach searching for that engagement ring.
"It was a cheap one. I'm trying to save for the wedding and our future." he says calmly. "Unless you say no." He says nervously. I laugh. I give him a big hug.
"I would have said yes." He smiles and hugs back.
"And I don't care if it was cheap. Money doesn't get in the way of love."
I hug him tighter and I never want to let go.
"Laina Canterlot?" the nurse asks looking around. I raise my hand.
"Ah, you and your entourage come with me." Me and May stay beside each other giggling. May gives me a hug and says "If I ate your ring, don't go all bridezilla on me." She laughs. I make a scary face and make my hands look like claws.
"RAWR WHY YOU EAT MY ENGAGEMENT RING? OU NOT BRIDESMAID ANYMORE!" I say in a deep voice.
"Bridesmaid?" She perks up. I laugh.
"Who else would I get as my bridesmaid?" I ask.
"Elise. "
Oh shoot I forgot about her. She goes bridezilla for weddings even if it's not hers. She even tries to divorce her friends and their partners so they can meet someone new and get married again. She even did to her sister Marley.
"Heck no!" I yell way too loud. Doctors all turn to look at me. Me and May giggle and walk on.

We all sit back in the waiting room waiting for the results. The TV is still on Nickelodeon. It's now showing Spongebob. It's the episode where he breaks his butt and he won't go outside anymore.
I hope this won't happen to me. One minute I'm free and twenty one and engaged. Second minute I'm sitting in the doctors office concealed to the real world.
