I come out of the earth and scare a young couple taking a walk. I look down at my hole. It was pitch black in there. I look down at my clothes. I'm wearing my birthday dress. It's filthy now and I don't have my keys to my house anymore. Probably because I died. Duh.

"Well guess I'm here on my own." I mutter to myself. Then my eyes light up. Go to Jeremy's house.

It takes a hour walk to his house from the cemetery but it's worth it. I decide I go creepy stalker mode and peer through his bedroom. I'm shocked. He is majorly OCD and can't take any mess. His bedroom is trashed and he is lying on his bed staring into the ceiling. Tears are streaming from his eyes and he looks like he hasn't bathed in days. Is this how much he loves me?

I walk to his front porch and knock on his door. On the other side I hear a moan and sloppy footsteps coming towards the door.

The door opens.

"What?!" He screams and runs backwards onto his couch.

"Nonononono this isn't happening... I'm hallucinating! Laina is DEAD!" He shouts.

"I'm Laina." I say gently.

He glares at me. "Prove it."

How will I prove it. I know! Our song!

"Little teeny tiny star way up in the sky, it looks so teeny tiny cause' it is so very high, but if you get too close to it, it'll burn you to the bone! So we must peer form way down here and leave that star alone." I sing softly.

I've been the worst singer at the best of times but I bet my voice in Jeremy's ears is pure gold.

His face softens up and he engulfs me in a hug full of kisses.

"I thought you were dead." he wept.

"I did too."
