"Why did Janus want to murder you when he found out you were Remus's twin?" Logan asked Roman as soon as Virgil, Janus, Remus, Patton and Emile were out of hearing range. Roman just shrugged. "I don't need The Heart's Empathy to know that Janus was in protective boyfriend mode, babes. So What did you do to the name stealer?" Remy asked shiping on a Starbucks. Roman looked down before he mumbled "I wasn't the best brother to Remus. We got along with each other until we turned 7. That's when we split from each other. Remus got more chaotic and destructive and I got more ....... I became what my parents wanted us to be. This was when our Powers started appearing. I followed My parents' image and just like them, I hated what Remus was becoming, well I was pretending to. I told him every day to get better so mother and father didn't get mad at him. When we were 14, He ran away after a massive argument between our parents and him." Roman finished still looking down at the ground.
"WHAT!"
Roman, Remy and Logan flinch at the shouting and turn to find a very angry Patton and a sad looking Emile. "Patton, love. Calm down. Its not that bad and I don't even know why Dec-Janus wanted to murder me for that" Roman said trying to calm his younger boyfriend but he only seem to make Patton more angry. Which is very scary because the father figure is hardly ever angry, let alone to this level. "I understand why. Did you ever defend Remus against your parents? Did you ever stand up for Remus? Did you ever show Remus you didn't hate him? Did you ever show him that you were a proper brother to him? No of course you didn't. Remus probably thinks you hate him as much as your parents. He probably thinks you wanted him gone too. He probably ran away because no one wanted him. Janus was being protective because you emotionally hurt Remus'':Patton said angrily to Roman before turning to Logan "I'm going to bed. in my own room tonight. on my own don't join me!". He then storms off.
"You have done it now, babes," Remy laughed, looking at the very devastated and upset Roman before getting hit on the black of the head by Emile. "Remy. Be nice. Now I'm going to go help my brother" Emile said before running after Patton. Remy looked down at the floor before getting a Starbucks and just walked off leaving the two boyfriend's together. "I really messed up, didn't I, Logan?" Roman mumbled looking everywhere but Logan. "It seems so" Logan said, crossing his arms, he himself was angry at Roman for upsetting patton. "What am I going to do?" Roman muttered looking at Logan with wide eyes filled with tears. "give him space tonight then in the morning apologies to Patton and your brother and explain why you did what you did. Now I'm going to my room. See you in the morning, Roman" Logan then walks off to his room.
Roman thinks to himself for a while before nodding to himself and walks off to his room to spend the lonely night on his own.
