I just sat there, looking out the window.
Weirdly, an insignificant amount of guilt tugged my heart as I think about what has just happened earlier.
Well, yes, I got so shocked and it was like the utmost terrifying thing that could happen to a person, but it wasn't, and I couldn't think of other ways to react to it.
I shouted at him as if he was the stupidest person in the world.
Just realizing how disgraceful my initial reaction was, I wanted to be swallowed by this seat immediately.
Argh! Why did I even decide to get into this stupid car!
But then again, I cannot show remorse. I'd rather die than apologize about it.
Duh!
I mean, I know that what I did was wrong, but it wouldn't have happened if he didn't grab my arm! He should be the one to apologize.
Ah, yes, yes, he should apologize, and not the other way around. The voice in my mind induced.
Finally, after the long ride of pure silence, we reached a very popular restaurant at the heart of the city.
We really did plan to show other employees our exit, especially those who are in my department.
I'm sure rumors about us already spread like wildfire since it's already the second time that this bastard showed up in my office and take note that he has probably never set foot in that floor because he could easily just call his employees up to his office.
And now a woman made his lordship come down from his high place with a reason that is still unknown.
What a nice topic to gossip about, isn't it?
We went out of the car and he gave the key to the valet that is waiting in front of the restaurant.
As we went inside of the restaurant that had a few people, ─positively rich people, of course, this is an expensive restaurant after all─ their heads noticeably turned to our direction.
We just continued walking towards the seat that were quite hidden from the open, on a corner, specifically.
We sat right there and ordered.
No one ever talked among the both of us throughout the dinner and the silence, it's essentially killing me on the inside.
I can't think of anything to say. And even him! Like, he's not even trying and refused to look at me, at least. He didn't even care and just ate like he was all alone.
I sighed.
After eating our dinner, we went right out and into his car.
I couldn't take the silence anymore!
"You don't really care, do you?" I asked as he was driving.
"What?" His forehead creased and glanced at me for a second.
"You know what I mean. Don't you even really know how to talk?" I articulated.
"I'm talking right now, Miss Del Real." he said with no humor.
"Oh, don't be so pilosopo, Mr. Delmont." I pointed out his sarcasm.
"I know you're used to not saying anything and ignoring people around you, but I'm not!" I breathed heavily and murmured, "How did Coreen even become your fiancé with this personality?" I shook my head.
I saw his lips twitch upward for a second and he glanced at the window on his left side.
What the heck was that? Did he just smile at the mention of that woman's name?
