Marriage isn't a ring worn or a paper signed. It is not something endured but savoured. It is the union of two hearts beating as one, each that would sacrifice for the other's happiness and wellbeing. Marriage is something so beautiful that in that natural world it would be an opening rose, always with radiant petals left to unfurl to a warm sun. Perhaps that is why we give roses to those we love and often have them at our sacred unions. Marriage is the blessing we give to one another, an eternal bond of soul-mates.
That's why you wanted this very day to be as memorable as possible. You were finally going to be his. Officially.
You walked down to the aisle with your dad and eyes settled on eunwoo who stand there smiling happily. Once you're close enough, your dad took eunwoo's hand and put your hand on it.
Y/dad: Now it's your turn to take care of her. Love her with all of you. Don't makes me regret.
Eunwoo: Of course. I will always love her and protect her for the rest of my life.
He answered and you can't help but giggles at the scene. Then both of you turn to face the priest, smiling happily.
Priest: cha eunwoo, will you take kang y/n as your wife and loving her with all of you until death separate you?
Eunwoo: Yes, I will!"
Priest: Kang y/n, will you take cha eunwoo as your husband and loving him with all of you until death separate you?
Y/n: Ye-
Tae: Yah! It's not fair! Why you started it off with eunwoo, jagiya!
a voice interupt your lines and you turn back to found your soon to be husband walking to the aisle in a rush. He was panting and frowning.
Eunwoo: It's good that you're here, unless I will take her as my wife. *Laughing*
Y/n: eunu! Stop it! You will only makes him more annoyed! *to Taehyung, smiling* We were just practicing, jagiya. Since you're not here yet and I'm still so nervous so I asked eunu to help me practicing. I'm afraid that I might mess it up. *Pout*
Tae:You shoud've just wait for me if you want to practice. I still not allow it if you practice with him.
He then turn to eunu and show ugly faces which makes you laugh. He's literally like a little kid. You and Taehyung's marriage is coming in a week, so both of you has been busy with the preparation. The party, the guests, the avenue, fitting the wedding dress and everything. Although Taehyung tell you that you're doing good, but you just so nervous about everything.
Both of your parents and Taehyung's are so happy, finally their wishes come true. You, yourself can't be more happier to marrying him.
Tae: Come on! Practice it with me! *whines*
Y/n: *chuckles* Sure, jagiya. But aren't you tired from rushing here and there? Rest for awhile, okay? I ain't go anywhere.
Eunwoo: Yah, he should be a strong man if he wanted to marry you. Just let him, Minji-ah. I'll watching him
Eunwoo: *glare* stop it..
Tae: Let him be, jagiya. I'm the one who gonna marry you anyway.
Taehyung added and stick out his tongue at eunwoo.
Flashback
Tae: Jimin what are you doing?
Jimin: tae? You came so early.... what's up?
Tae: Nothing, I finished early..... actually I have some important business to take care of. I'm going to propose Y/n today. *excited*
Jimin: Oh My God!! Woahhhhh Tae!! I'm so proud of you. *Hugging tae*
Rose: What's going on here? Tae are you cheating on Y/n with Jimin? *Fake glare*
Tae: Shut up, Rose! I'm gonna propose Y/n today, that's what I came to tell Jimin
Rose: Omg!! Really?? Woahhh, I'm so happy....way to go *joining the hug*
Tae: Ok guys, now I really have to go, I don't have much time
Jimin/ rose: Yah yah, bye....best of luck.*giving him a thumbs up.*
Tae:Thank you, you guys!!
Time skip
It was summertime as the sun was bright today. You were drinking cold coffee to beat this scorching summer heat as you were typing some things on your laptop when you received a message from none other than your favourite person.
Tae: Where are you love? I wanna meet up!!
Y/n: *smile* I'm here at the coffee shop.
Tae: Stay there, I'm coming.
You saw the message and went back to work while waiting for tae to come. You were now a computer engineer while tae was a choreographer and an owner of a dance studio. Jimin was a successful businessman and Rose worked for him as she was one of the major shareholder of his company.
After about 10 minutes later, you heard the 'ding' sound of the bell hanged on the door indicating coffee shop. You didn't bother to look up as you were engrossed in your work but when you heard the chair shift in front of you and someone sat on it, your lips instantly curled up in a big smile as you closed your laptop and looked up to see the one person you were waiting for.
Tae was sitting Infront of you as he kept looking at you with his lips tugged up in a smirk. You were still smiling as you gave him a 'what' look.
Tae: Stop staring.
Y/n: Yeah, okay.
Tae finally looked away as he shrugged his shoulders with a smile still lingering on his lips.
Waiter: Here's your order mam.
Y/n: Here take this.
Tae: What's this?
Y/n: It's your favourite, strawberry milkshake
Tae: I needed it. You know me so well.
Y/n: Of course, how will I not.
You both were drinking coffee in silence when you noticed tae trying to say something to you but was hesitating to do so.
Y/n: Do you have anything to say, Kim?
Tae: Yeah, I do! Here
Tae said as he took out a small box from his jeans pocket.
Y/n: What's this? *clueless*
