Third POV

The sun was shining brightly over Asombrosa, as the wind softly blew. A couple ghosts flying around until a giant ice sculpture grew.

Julia made an ice sculpture of Isabela as Isa awed and clapped. Luisa picked it up and put it a top a table before Y/N placed down plates of food with her powers.

Mariah grabbed a couple things as Dolores whispered into Taikas ear, after hearing what she said Taika giggled.

Everyone then sat down. (in a different table bc no there is a not a random sculpture of isa while u eat)

"We were thinking about the Ariases coming to visit Encanto." Alma spoke aloud as everyone turned silent and turn to face her.

"Yes, we won't be for long, but just to look around." Carmen spoke.

"It's only enough after you trusted us to come to Asombrosa." Alma said.

"Oh it's nothing, Mariah felt as if you were trustable."

"Still, it would be a pleasure to bring you all to encanto." Alma spoke as everyone agreed and continued with their own small conversations as they ate.

"By the way, how was hanging with Camilo?" Saria, the light manipulator, asked Y/N.

"Oh, it was nice."

"Yeah, you never told your dearest sister how it went."

"Well, you never asked." Y/N responded.

"Oo, yeah how'd it go?" Taika said as she forced herself into the conversation.

"Well uh, he helped me with baby sitting and we ate dinner. Simple."

"So like.. a date?" Jules spoke.

"What? No! Girl.. we just met. As if. Plus the guy probably doesn't like me."

"Really."

Cue to Camilo silently looking at Y/N while ignoring Luisa talking to him.

"I think maybe he just thinks i'm a great friend."

'Then do you like him? That's the big question.' Mariah sent.

"Okay, what's up with you guys?" Y/N asked, feeling like it was a full on interrogation.

'No, i dont like him. You should know.' Y/N thought in response to Mariah.

'That's that guys. She ain't like him.'

Mariah sent to everyone but Camilo and Y/N.

Everyone looked in mixed between shocked or not surprised.

Mariah told most people about their hang out, most people definitely thought something was up.

Truth was Y/N thought he was alright. She had yet to develop feelings for the young man.

It had been a couple of days after, and they were planning on visiting Encanto, and they did. The Arias's came to look around.

During the talk about visiting it had already been a couple months that the Madrigals visited Asombrosa.

Camilos POV

It felt like days since i'd been in my room. Which was true. It had been a couple Months. I thought about my time in Asombrosa and the only distinct memories were both my family and Arias's pestering me about if I liked Y/N. Mostly my family, especially Dolores and my mom. It was started to get annoying. Especially since they kept trying to "hook us up" or "help us".

After a couple hours of thinking i came out my room and walked to the kitchen to grab some snacks as i ran into Taika.

"Hey dude, can i speak to ya for a sec."

I looked over and grabbed what i was gonna grab before fully turning and facing Taika.

"Yeah, sup?"

"Do you like Y/N?"

Wow, that was straightforward.

Third POV

The silence that filled the air felt awkward to Camilo. But as Taika waited for an answer she grew impatient.

"Hel-?" Taika was cut off.

"What? No. I dont like her. Why do you keeping being weird about that?"

"I don't know. You always stare at her. And compliment her. It's kind of annoying."

"I barely do it."

Dolores entered the kitchen as the two fell silent.

"What are you guys arguing about?"

"As if you dont already know Dolores." Camilo said with attitude.

Dolores's eyes widened.

"I didn't like the tone you used young man." Dolores was kind. But she wouldn't take any disrespect.

"My god, are you part of this?" Camilo asked annoyed.

What Camilo thought before was true. The vision Bruno saw made everyone think their reasoning to get Camilo and Y/N were valid. But it was because of that, that it made Camilo annoyed. It was forced. At first, he saw it as simple teasing. Until his side of the family got annoying. The Arias's didn't do anything. Only Taika with her weird smirks as she saw Camilo blushing while talking to Y/N.

The constant pestering and asking, set ups and excuses were starting to really get on Camilos nerves.

"Why do you keep on and on asking about Y/N? About if i liked her? Or if we did something? Also always annoying her. Yeah don't think i didn't see that. I thought better of the Madrigals then to get into peoples business so far as to even pester the person who has no clue what was going on. Sure i look at her, and think she's pretty. But would if i didn't like her? You'd be setting us up for nothing. Please just stop trying to set me up with her. She's clearly uncomfortable." Camilo spoke as other members of his family showed up listening.

Throughout the months the family put so much force into the relationship happening instead of it going on naturally. Sure after Casita was destroy abuela became less pressuring, but that didn't mean she fully changed. She only wanted it so the gifts and magic could spread and widen. Not caring for the real connection.

It wasn't until Camilo snapped that abuela realized she was doing the same thing she was doing to Isabela.

"Camilo-" Alma tried speaking but Camilo interrupted.

"I'm sorry but all i ask is for you to mind your business. Should of never had that dumb vision. I thought i was gonna go to Asombrosa and have a good time. Not be forced to go on dates." The thing Camilo wanted least was to make Y/N uncomfortable. But his family were making it hard to accomplish that.

Camilo walked away and went to his room, leaving the madrigals looking down disappointed in themselves.

Taika was just doing friendly teasing, which Camilo didn't mind. So she knew she wasn't really part of it. So while he snapped she stood there awkwardly. After he finished she followed.

Camilo and Taika were close friends. Having similar personalities. And don't worry she won't 'steal yo mans'. She's into girls.

She decided to follow after Camilo and talk to him. To try and comfort him.
